landed in a deep forest, somewhere in Europe

The forest she saw as her head finally stopped spinning was like nothing she has ever seen before. New varieties of plants, new types of trees. They were much smaller then she was used to, and undergrowth of the forest was very sparse. It was cold - the wind especially was bringing shivers - but thanks to her equipment she was able to stay warm.

She was scouting the area for few hours now. She climbed the tallest tree on one of the hills and took a look over horizon with [Far Sight]. She spotted several large villages and a small city and a big city with the surrounding villages. The city looked important, she could spot the castle towering over a hill. Judging by the size of the buildings and the area it could easily accommodate 50 thousand people.

Perhaps it was a capital of a principality? or even a country?

There were some other peculiar things though. She couldn't spot any city walls. It's true, the castle was surrounded by a wall, and it's back was to the cliff, making the defence of it very practical. But there were no city walls at all. She couldn't fathom how would the population survive any raid or war? Things didn't make any sense.

She climbed down the tree to gather her thoughts and decide her next steps. Should she make a contact with someone, perhaps the lord of this land and offer her services as a hunter? Should she look for the adventurers guild? There must be some monsters that need slaying, she saw the tracks of many that could easily kill a human. On the other hand, she could just start at one of the villages, hunt first, gather some pelts and trade for house materials.
