A fictional character joins the game

Suddenly, in the blink of eye, the empty podium Jack addressed was filled by someone, plucked from the multiverse to appear on the gameshow. It could be have been a man or woman, a game character or a comic book one. Maybe it was someone from an anime or a cartoon.

Whatever the case, Jack turned to the poor soul and said "Our first contestant is..."
