Chapter 167 by [KingDucky] [KingDucky]

Who is this man?

The Beginning of the End

You raised an eyebrow. Cleo raised an Eyebrow. Belle muttered a low "Ummmmm?"

Before you was a very very tall man, He was easily 7 feet tall, wearing a thick green Jacket, black jeans with a dirty white shirt underneath, his crimson suspenders matching his thick Red-brown boots. He wore a Mask, a Vampires mask with the visage of a bearded smiling man with a huge red nose, his crazed matted mane of Strawberry blonde hair brushing in the wind.

"Can I help you?" You asked, a little confused.

The Man fell cartoonishly into a crouch "Aye, ya can actually!" You thought he said, though his accent was so thickly Irish that you could barely make out what He was saying. "I'm afraid I have forgotten what I'm doing here. do'ya know?" He asked, looking around as if He wasn't sure where he was.

"The Black Woods, just outside the city." Cleo said, seemingly just as perplexed as you and Belle.

She scratched the whiskers that curled out of his neck "Which city?" He asked like a lost child.

"Wallace... are you alright buddy-Ah." You paused, feeling a little tingle in your chest "Are you a Vampire?" You asked curiously, the man counting with his pale, taloned fingers like He was trying to figure out something.

"Oh... uh aye I am, and a Leprechaun." Okay.... wait.... wat?

"Aren't you a little tall, to be an Undead Leprechaun?" Belle chuckled.

The Mask turned to you, the blood-red eyes staring angrily "I resent that, that is a harmful stereotype... You're a real cunt eh lad.... Wait a minute, tall, Black-haired, a bit of a cunt... you wouldn't happen to be Lord Nox would you?"

That's just about when the thought of caution came about you "Who's asking?"

The 'Leprechaun' nodded to himself "Oh he's definitely the one... what did our dearest Red Queen want us to do again? Have a Thrill with 'im, damn was the ting? drinks to spill with 'im? no that's not it?" He puzzled shortly before recognition came into his blood-red eyes "Ahhh I remember... It was, go down there, and Kill him. COME ON OUT BOYS, IT'S TIME FOR A CRAIC!"

Falling like autumn leaves from the trees, figures in Green fell one by one into the clearing, all baring Undead Masks, and all snarling, a raging aura sweeping towards you as Belle, Cleo and most importantly you, ready for a fight "Kill me?" You whispered, carefully observing the 3 or so dozen of them that had come to attack, and finding barely any power at all. "Good luck."

Don't go and lose yourself now, only a little power will be needed.

"Oh don't worry about that, this will be like squashing bugs."

Hmmm In that case, FUCK THEM UP HAHA!

It all began at a breakneck speed, Belle launched into a group like a cannonball, spreading all that she could get her claws into. Cleo rolling her eyes as a handful of the Blooded Vampires jumped out at her, the Goth reaching out a hand as He eyes flashed "Kill yourselves." She whispered, her mind control crushing on their will as a few men started to tear out their own throats, rip out their own hearts and bash their heads against the trunks of the trees, painting the Bark in black blood.

The Leprechaun came for you first, springing to life as He swept around in a bunch of direction to try and confuse you, though a smile crept across your face "Forevermore..." As time slowed you not only saw the Leprechauns sluggish movements, but also the path that He was taking to eventually strike at your throat.

Cracking your knuckles you drew your fist back, the muscles bulging as you roared madly "FALCON PUUUUUUUUNCH!" your fist met it's target, burying itself deep into the man's mask and shattering it as his head blew off his shoulders in an explosion of blood, his jacketed body slumping on the ground as you looked at the others, who gave pause at the sight. "What are you waiting for? Let's craic." You grinned darkly as many more figures came at you in shadowed blurs of greens and black.

To say that this was a cakewalk would be an understatement, you slashed and spun, the breaking of bone and opening of throats, spraying you with blackened blood as your body rushed with exhilaration. the strange blooded were heavy-handed and poorly organised, Cleo was having no issue in breaking into their minds and forcing them to battle one another rather than her, and Belle was nothing less than a juggernaut, caving in chests like they were styrofoam, stamping on heads and laughing gleefully as she picked up a man and pelted his body like a softball, painting him across a tree.

Joy rose in your veins, feeding the hunger for battle that arose from your pours in a black smokey aura, your eyes burning as You slashed in a perfect circle, rending the heads off of multiple enemies in one clean cut.

"rrrrgggg this feels good."

Finish this quickly, you're blood is boiling.

"No NO, I NEED MORE, MORE ****..."

the neck of a Vampire cracked under your bite as you tore out his jugular, tossing him aside as You diced another into pieces, misting through his cloud of black blood to run another through and tearing out his unbeating heart.

They just keep coming... how many of them are there?

"NOT ENOUGH."

More and more you gorged on the **** of these Vampires, killing and ripping and tearing in delight, the extinguishing of their lives fueling your fire.

"Bloody Hell!? You're a god damn Monster eh?"

You turned, face twisted with wrath, and paused... the Leprechaun, the same leprechaun, red suspenders and all, mask intact rushed towards you, planting a solid punch into your stomach and violently disturbing your blood pool.

"EUGH, I KILLED YOU?" You roared as You felt your small intensive split inside.

He chuckled "You can't kill me, fella, I'm already dead, haha."

His hard fist buried itself into your face and sending you flying. As you quickly recovered, it was then that You realised, that there wasn't more of them, they were simply the same 30 or so of them, reappearing out of nowhere to fight.

What is this?

"NEVER ENDING ****."

You fought and you fought and you fought, feelings so many that the ground ran black with Vampires blood, but oh did they keep coming and more often than not, they managed to get a good few jabs in.

Before long your body was lacerated and bruised, face bloody as the Scar on your eye burned painfully, and yet you could barely feel the pain, as you were so lost in your haze of battle, crushing and mauling like an animal, as Belle began to slow, wounded slightly, and Cleo clutched her head as the overuse of her powers pained her.

"Master! I... I don't know how much longer I can take this!?" Belle cried desperately as she took a bad cut to the ribs.

"My lord, My head... I'm not strong enough in a physical fight..." Cleo pleaded as she took a shattering headbutt to the head.

Panic began to swell inside, You could keep going like this for hours, but they couldn't and you were already lost in bloodlust, unable to stop yourself.

"I... I... I can't stop myself. Vlad... Help me."

I warned you, to finish this quickly. I cannot stop you now, as I could not stop myself.

You felt a roar leave your lips, your body numb, mind floating in a square as you watched yourself mangle the same lot over and over, the sounds of your girl's struggling behind you... You couldn't call the Nox, You didn't want to hurt them, not again, but there was one that could both save you, from these infinite foes, and yourself... Vlad nodded from within as He tried to sail on the raging sea of red inside, trying to reach Rose's form as You butchered any and all that came your way, the screams of Cleo as she was pounced on only making your lack of control worse, Belle's pained growls as she was tackled to the ground.

"COME ON... ROSE... WHERE ARE YOU...?"

Wait... someone is coming...

He was right, your powerful ears could pick up rapid movement, insanely fast steps that boomed through the woods at a pace that would put a Superior to shame.... it was Rose, she was coming, she'd be here in just a moment!

The Leprechaun pointed to the Girls who were being swarmed. "Quick, get rid of the Lassie's that will really piss him off hahaha! what a lovely night-"

The Leprechaun could not speak, He could not boast or joke or be carefree... because He had been cut in half... but not by Rose.

"Boss? What happened to the EUGH!" Another masked Vampire was squashed out as his head suddenly exploded into nothing, a small silver disc that shone unnaturally bright at your eyes embedded in the trunk of a tree where the Vampire once stood.

The Foreign Vampires all shifted in fear "What's going on, what the Hell is going on--"

This time you saw it coming, and to the naked eye, it looked like a giant silver disc, but as you focused, you saw that it was something spinning so fast that as it blew through the Vampire that had spoken, cleaving him clean in half as the Disc shone brightly. This blur of blinding light circled faster than a bullet, turning in a cyclone of power to cleave the Vampires apart as the ground it ran on ruptured into the air from the ****.

it was when the Spinning formation halted, slowing until it became a visible form, that Your eyes opened wide. The Figure slid across the grass and dirt, it's pitch black form contrasted by it's arms and legs.

It's a person?

"A woman?"

She was tall, and shadowed, wearing a thick black cloak that fell down to her waist. beneath it, she wore a thick black bodysuit with big white letters that spelt the words "DESTROY" on them in bold... both of her arms, from shoulder to fingertips where covered in sharply crafted silver plates etched with strange glowing symbols, they looked sharp enough to cut through iron and splayed in a circular fashion as they shone with holy light.

She wore Greives and Metal boots just like her Gauntlets, engrave silver with bladed plates in the shape of scythes. and under her huge hood that hung low like the Grim reaper's shawl, was around the cartoonish black mask, made of dark mahogany wood, it had large friendly eyes, and a sinister toothy smile, it's tall black ears were made of Black metal and shaped into two curled points.

The Foreign vampires collectively froze "is that..."

"No way..."

"It's the Black rabbit-" The Last did not finish his sentence, because the Figure in the rabbit mask brandished a Slarge silver liberty dollar coin, and caught it masterfully in between her fingers, that flexed with muscle as she gave it a simple flick.

Booming like a gunshot, the Coin shot so fast that you could barely track it, blowing through the Vampire's chest like a 50 calibre round and leaning him a bloody corpse on the ground.

"RUN!!!" The Leprechaun cried in fear as He bolted offf.

"IT'S THE BLACK RABBIT!!!!"

"THE REAPING RABBIT, THE REAPING RABBIT, FUCKING RUN!!!"

They collectively bolted. sprinting with their tails behind their legs... though not many got far. The Black rabbit shook her wrists, a silver coin appearing in between each of her ten fingers, before in an insane jumble of speed, she began tossing the coins around between her hands, juggling them while firing them at such a speed that they cut through the air like a machine gun, more and more appearing seemingly from nowhere, a rain of silver firing into the backs of those who tried to flee and cutting the surround field of trees into splinters.

Though strangely... in the blink of an eye, the corpses of your foes eventually vanished, and the Figure moved forward, her arms low and tense, stalking towards Cleo and Belle with a sinister ire.

"NO"

Splitting the air that you charged through, eyes blazing and body bellowing in shadow, you collided with the Black Rabbit, your hands interlocked as she grunted, pushing against your inhuman **** with equal strength, and as your fingers crushed into each other, your shadowy cloud of immense power slowly starting to overcome hers with your ever-rising wrath, a mane of red hair whipped between you.

"Sheild your eyes!" Rose cried to Belle and Cleo who weakly did so. Your Lover pushing against your chest as she drew blood from her hand and drew a symbol in the air "Dragon's Breath: Candelight 50%"

As the Rune sparked into life, an explosion of fiery orange light flashed to life before you, instilling in you the dread of the Sun, burning away the storm inside of you and scorching at your being before burning out very suddenly.

Falling to your knees, skin smoking and clothes burnt, you hung your head weakly, the terror and fatigue of being under the gaze of the sun lingering in your body "Follow." Rose said the Black Rabbit who stood with her head tilt, though the figure eventually nodded and followed Rose as she grasped you under your arms, and began to drag you towards the bunker "Are you two able to walk?" Rose asked coldly to the heavily wounded, Belle and Cleo.

The Brunette sluggishly pulled herself up "I am... I'll carry Clo back to the Manor... are you going to be alright?" Belle asked weakly, on of her eyes clamped shut as it bled black.

Rose nodded "Rest, regenerate, We will keep him safe."

Your eyes closed and all went to black.

"You did what?" Fawkes asked, his voice cold and terrifying. The Woman had never seen him this angry before, it was quite fascinating.

Lady Morrigan shrugged "I sent the Lepracuan and his gang after him, so what?" The Ginger Irishwoman asked, staring carelessly up to the giant face of the clocktower as it chimed loudly.

Lady Swan shook her head in disapprovingly, standing from the fine chair that she had stolen up to the Clocktower from a Human restaurant not far from here. The Woman wondered how she got it up here anyway, and if it was worth stealing one herself, She was the only one currently living up here anyhow, the other's had decided to steal themselves off into human establishments where they could mind control themselves into comfort with plenty of flesh to bit into come diner time.

"We 'ad an agreement Morrigan, No. Delegates. you and those crackpot Irish Vampires of yours could have compromised our observations" Swan growled in the rough British tone that she took when she got angry.

Lady Morrigan ran her fingers through her Red hair, shrugging "It's not like I'm the only one that who thought to play with our new Superior friend." Morrigan looked at the Woman, biting her lip with annoyance "...She has too..."

Morrigan pointed a taloned finger at the Woman, and her Fellow superior's looked at her. She felt subconscious, and so tightened her cocoon.

"Who?" Swan asked with a confused face.

Morrigan went to speak, touching her forehead as she tried to grip unto the memory "Its.... she... for fuck sake can you turn that stupid power off!?" Morrigan cried.

The Woman frowned but saw Fawke's looking sadly at her "Come on Girlie... there is no need to be shy." He said.

It still felt strange to her, being seen when she didn't want to be seen, but Fawkes was not normal, not compared to any superior, or even really Vampire's in general, but she liked him, He was the closest thing that The Woman had to a friend in a long time... and so she let go of her powers and let her cocoon dissipate.

Lady Swan looked at Hisano with recognition "Come now, Lady Fall my dear, don't let that horrible Harkin scare you into hiding, You can trust us." Swan said warmly.

Hisano pushed one of her long Black hairs that were dyed blue at its ends behind her ear subconsciously.

Fawkes appeared beside her, crouching down to where she sat, smiling warmly at her "Now... be honest... have you been following Lord Nox?"

Hisano felt her face become sad "Yes." She said simply.

Fawkes nodded "Well you shouldn't have gone without us." Lord Horus said with a mild disappointment.

Hisano nodded "I like him." She whispered shyly.

Swan chuckled "Aw... see, it's nothing, she just has a crush..."

Morrigan's face twisted "Oh so I fuck up and it's all yelling and anger, but little Lady Fall fucks up and its all cooing and crushes!?" She roared angrily.

Fawkes gave her an unamused stare "There's a difference."

"And what's that then?" Morrigan asked.

"We don't like you." Swan chuckled, Fawkes, joining.

"Not to mention that she can become imperceptible, and you fucking had your idiot goons attack him, we are supposed to be observing, not attacking!" Fawkes shouted

But Hisano shook her head "If Lord Rise where here, I would not have been so foolish..." She lamented.

Fawkes touched her shoulder light "Ya Brudda need to stay home, yes? to look after your clan?"

Hisano nodded.

The Black-haired lady Swan smiled "Well if Lady Fall has a crush on him, and doesn't do things that could potentially start a fucking clan war, then I say why shouldn't she follow him to her heart's content."

Fawkes agreed warmly. Lady Morrigan stood, scowling at them all "I am not some twat who follows orders, I am the Red Queen, Lady of the Moors, and I do as I please."

Lord Horus grinned darkly "Then do as you please... but mark my words, Gurl, if you fuck up our introductions to Lord Nox, then I'll have **** but to call one of my Mummies here."

The Redhead shivered "You're bluffing."

"Am I?" He asked.

Morrigan frowned, growling as she sped away so fast that the floorboards beneath her ruptured violently as she vanished.

Swan sighed "I will follow, make sure that she stays out of trouble," and with a tip of her bonnet, Swan also left although a lot more gracefully.

Fawkes pushed back his dark dreadlocks to uncover his ears, before smiling and sitting with Hisano just opposite her "So, Hisa, ya really like him huh?"

She grimaced "I..."

Fawkes held his hands up "No need to say, I can tell. You look more alive than I've ever seen you."

Holding her arms close to her body, she frowned "I do not like being discerned." She whispered.

"I know... I know... but you can't hide from everything girlie. You should introduce yourself, draw first blood... so to speak." Fawkes chuckled in his deep way, and Hisano giggled girlishly along with him, there voiced echoing in that clocktower, it's giant cogs and wooded interior stained with the moonlight.

You awoke to searing pain, that burned every area of your skin, it made you stir violently screeching in pain as powerful hands held you in place "Beloved... Beloved... calm yourself."

Regaining a slight focus, you looked around with your bloody eyes, seeing an unfamiliar environment. It was a small space, only just bigger than a garden shed, with little else but a table, a bed, and a tiny kitchenette with a black kettle on the hob.

Everything was bathed in orange light, an ornage light that disturbed your inner being.

IT.... BURNS....

Vlad growled from within, his shadowy body distorting from within.

"The Bunker..."

You looked up to the ceiling, to see the circular burning runes of the Dragon's breath candlelight runes, steadily glowing and casting a horrible light on everything in sight.

"Just try to sleep... I know it's hard but-"

I GOT THIS... JUST REST, NEED TO REST.

Vlad locked himself inside his cage, rocking as He tried to sleep under the sizzling heat.

Two were with you. Rose, holding you tightly to your chair from behind, and the cloaked Black Rabbit, who sat quietly just sat opposite you.

"You are quite an impressive specimen, my dear..." The Voice spoke, buzzing and distorted behind her mask.

"My... dear...?" You asked weakly.

The Rabbit reached up, pulling away her large hood to reveal black hair, and slipped away her mask slowly to reveal Golden eyes, and a pretty but aged face.

"A-Aunt Remhilde.... right... Executioner..." You said.

She nodded, giving you a gentle smile as she tried to take your smoking hand, though she thought better of it when you winced it pain at the contact. "I... we should talk." She said worriedly.

Hilde's brightly shining Silver gauntlets offended your eyes, though you took a closer look despite that.

The Fingers of each gauntlet where segmented and sharp, sharper than your own nails, upon each were strange Violet symbols engraved into each segment from her Fingers all the way up to her Biceps where the Gauntlets ended. a curved blade glided smoothly from her wrists to her elbows, the shining scythes looked strange, almost fluid in their design, but no less deadly. Without a doubt, her Grieves and Metal boots under the table were the same. Your aunt frowned at you pained expression, seeing how the silver irritated you, and so clasped her metal fingers together, resting her arms on the table, and spoke in a furtive whisper "uşurare."

The Gauntlets glowed an ominous Azure-purple, clicking and cocking as you heard the metal ease on her arms. the Metal relaxed and widened on the left side, allowing her to slip out her left hand which you saw where hideously scared under her tattoos...

But Her right arm... she did not 'pull' out her right arm, she pulled off Her right arm, the solid gauntlet freeing from her Bicep... which ended in a stump. She smiled as she lifted the heavy gauntlets and placed them on the ground "I know I know... freaky right? I'll explain later."

"Y-Your arm... but how... your arm was fine during the... but how?" You paused, watching as Your aunt gritted her teeth, pulling up her sleeve to reveal a circular Azure mark.

"Thallia." She whispered.

Thalia?

"Like... Mhalia?"

You and Rose looked on in awe as the circular symbol... glowed, just like a blood rune, though unlike a blood rune, sparks of Red did not flicker from it, but a smokey, cloud-like blueish-Violet shaped moved downward, forming into a smooth, and intricate arm made of what looked like crystal, it was the perfect shape to appear normal, moved and flexed like a normal hand would, but glittered and gleamed like jet from the Bicep to it's shining fingers.

Hilde grunted as if in pain, and pulled down her sleeve, slipping a Thin glove over her hand... the same that she wore at the Funeral, making her hand imperceptibly normal looking.

"You have questions I know, but I..." She burst into a violent cough, covering her mouth as she hacked momentarily, grimacing girlishly as she wiped her cloak... staining it a little red "But I am feeling a little under the weather, so I'd like to keep this short, alright?"

"Can't you... at least give a little spill? that's a lot to just drop on a nephew you know."

She cleared her throat, looking very tired all of a sudden "How about some advice? Do not fuck with things that you don't understand... it might cost you an arm and a leg." She wiggled her gloved fingers and knocked her feet against the table, making a thud that you knew only a fully metal object could make.

You nodded gravely, worrying over her missing arm or the blood that she just coughed up, maybe even the Strange blue rune that Rose puzzled at, but you were tired and felt weak... now was not the time.

Looking back to Rose "You can let me go, I'm too weak to do anything." With your assurance she did so, pulling up one of the metal chairs to sit beside you.

Remhilde rubbed her tattooed knuckles and shook her head "this... I want to say I'm sorry." She stammered in a way wholly unlike her "I should have been there. I should have protected you... protected Rommie... I'm so sorry."

Grunting in pain as your skin slowly burned, the regeneration reconstructing it as it did, you took your Aunt's powerful hand resolutely "Don't you ever apologise. it is not. your fault. You couldn't have stopped her even if you tried." You said, a tear falling down your cheek, sizzling out like water on a hot pan.

She shook her head "No I couldn't." Your aunt's eyes lingered on Rose, a deep and hating scowl forming on her face "It is with great restraint that I do not butcher you right here, Upir." She whispered.

Rose's face remained cold an calm as ever "I am not the enemy."

"You are the Enemies Kin. and the sister of My enemy is My enemy." Your aunt whispered. You had never seen her like this before, your aunt was all smiles and gentleness, superstition and silly stories, not the bloodthirsty woman that You now looked at.

"Aunt Hilde... I love her..." You pleaded, seeing the utter offence on your aunt's face.

"You cannot trust them, You cannot trust any of them... they are all vermin."

"Am I Vermin?" You asked.

Remhilda's face became sad, as she relaxed back into the chair, shaking her head "I should have been here. My brother is dead, My nephew a Monster. this is exactly what Rommie was trying to prevent."

"He wanted me to stay away from Cain... He... She... it, has been showing up, it hasn't asked for me to accept it's bite yet but... it's only a matter of time."

Aunt Hilde's eyes lit up "You know more than I suspected, my clever boy." She smiled gripping you hand tighter with her real hand "But you need to get your Beast under control, Didi has done well with hers but yours.... you could wipe out the city with that amount of power."

You nodded towards Rose "You can thank Rose for Didi... she had been training her, and Me."

Your Aunt eyed Rose "Then I have that to thank you for, Upir."

Rose stood from her chair, and bowed deeply "I am Rosaria Dracul, High Inquisitor of King Alucard."

That greeting didn't warren any better a look from your aunt "Dracul... Then this is worse than I suspected, My brother's murderer is Valerica Dracul, the Knight of Flesh?" She almost sounded afraid and Rose nodded gravely. "Fuck..."

"What fuck? We can kill her!?" You growled, though the bright light of the runes quickly subdued your anger.

Remhilde shook her head "You have no idea what that monster is... she is the second most powerful living Upir next to the King himself, she could wipe out the entire city in a heartbeat if she wanted."

"-I don't care." You snarled "I will do whatever it takes, whatever the cost."

"Charlie..." Hilde said in forlorn.

"Whatever the cost." You repeated.

A smile crept across her face "You're just as bad as your father... if not worse." She nodded, caving under your stare. "fine... I will help you, both of you" She scowled at Rose "Against my better judgement. but this will surely end in all of our deaths, the deaths of the ones you hate, the ones you love, you have to be ready to take that risk."

There was a hesitation...

Hilde sighed "I warned you, that's all I can say... now If we could speak alone?"

Rose looked to you, and you nodded. The Redhead stood, reaching into her bottomless purse and brandishing a note and a dusty looking book, handing the note to Your aunt who read it promptly and nodded

"The code for the door."

Rose placed the book in front of you, rubbing your shoulder "Some light reading." and made her way to the door "If there are No emergencies, then I will let you out in a week, I... I love you." she said.

You smiled "I love you too." and after punching in the code, your Rosie was gone.

Hilde shook her head "Who would have thought it, little Chippy falling in love with an Upir, a Royal at that... Your Grandmother is probably turning in her grave." She chuckled.

"Shut up..." You groaned, trying to cover your face from the burning rays "God this sucks."

"You are pretty far down the rabbit hole, Huh?" She said with a smile.

"No shit."

"Language!" She cried.

You shrunk "Sorry, auntie."

"I have killed more Vampires than I care to remember... your Grandfather would send me on missions, Quests he'd call them, I saw all sorts, Superior feeding on entire towns, a Preist who'd turned into a werewolf that was quite an adventure... I've seen 40 Vampires all go through their breaking at the same time... it was horrifying... but I've never seen an Undead, retain as much of their Humanity as I have with you." She said, half in fascination, half in grief. She touched your face gently, it was comforting, motherly "You must have been jumping for joy when you saw this glow up?"

You chuckled "You have no idea."

"Your father used to sit and question Blooded fresh after their turning, to measure the differences... they were mostly females, the fucking perv."

"Language!"

"I'm an adult, I am allowed." She laughed "today's youth has no appreciation for the aged these days, here look." Hilde grasped your hand, and placed it swiftly (And without hesitation) on her soft breasts which send an electric pulse of shock through your arm and into your chest.

  1. Because you were currently touching your Aunts tits.
  2. Because... of what you felt inside of her.

Golden eyes, calm as still water, looked at you from inside of your Aunt's abyssal soul, a thing simultaneously huge as a Giant, and small as an Aunt, calmly smiling with its golden teeth as It sat calmly in her chest.

Wow...

"It... it's so calm... so serene, it's like..." You started in disbelieve.

Hilde smiled "It's tamed."

"B-But... how? How did you get her so serene?"

"We have become one, as I suspect you and your Beast have Your father and I spent years trying to get them under control... it's Cain's blood you see, it splits the soul in two, The Ego and the Id, manifested as your consciousness and the Monster beside it, When the two try to rejoin it can be a shock to the system, your natural instinct starts to bleed through, but... as the Purest, and a Vampire... I suspect that this is ten times more potent for you, hence your adverse reaction."

That... and having 10,000 years of bloodlust leftover from me, slamming into you all at once.

You nodded, Remhilde clearly couldn't identify Vlad, it seemed that like Diana He appeared as an overwhelming shadow... something that you weren't sure if you were grateful for.

"I can help you, train it, contain it, but it will be difficult, more difficult than anything than you have ever done..." She explained. "...But if you pull this off, you will not only have full control over your powers, but I suspect that you will be so finely tuned, that you may be able to match that of that Crimson haired bitch."

You raised an eyebrow "R-Really?"

Remhilde saw your doubt "Tell me, Have you ever heard of Forevermore?"

You nodded profusely "Yes, I have... It slows my perception of time and shows me the path of what is to come, but how do you know about that, it's a vampire ability, isn't it?"

She chuckled "It is a power that all of our clan had been able to manifest. The Power to distort our perception of Time runs in our veins, The Power of Foresight, your father used it, your grandfather used it... Diana will likely soon manifest it. But you pulled it off naturally, without any training, you are the purest Charlie, and even at the cost of your Life, you will be the best of us." She touched your neck softly, pride in her eyes that you didn't know you needed.

"I... I don't know where to start I..." You whispered.

She smiled warmly "Well you can start by taking your hand off my boob."

Indeed you had been groping you aunt the entire time, drawing back boyishly and nervously smiling "S-Sorry."

"Damn Perv, just like your dad." She replied a smile on her face and a gleam in her golden eyes.

You spoke for a time, mostly about what had happened since your dad's ****, you laughed, you sat in sorrowful silence... but eventually, she went on her way, with the promise that once she had concluded some business that she vaguely eluded to, that she would do everything in her power to help fix your overwhelming darkness.

And then... you were alone, and so it began... the Begining of the End.
