Relax?

As I got home, I was completely sapped out of all my strength. The amount of stress I had built up this week just hit me at the same time and I just fell on my bed. I'd feed Mickey tomorrow. Right now, I just wanted to get some damn sleep.

Although... I suddenly realized I hadn't checked my app in like three days. Maybe there was something new there? After all I did dramatically just change Gretchen's number. Fine, I'll just quickly check that too.

Huh. Well there was something. A new update.

A new update From the Developers of The Submission Accelerator!

The Developers? Who were they? Blah, it probably didn't matter. Sounded like a story for another time.

In this update we have dramatically changed how the traits unlock. In the previous version of the app, the traits unlocked after getting a certain amount of submission points. From now on, they will unlock after certain aspects of the subject are revealed in interactions with them! This means that it's possible to get new traits even after they hit +100 submission points!

I guess that was an improvement? I clicked the update notification away, and noticed that once again I had two blinking unlocks for Gretchen. Great. But this time it didn't show how many possible unlocks I had left after that, which I didn't really miss that much. The first unlock seemed to be a bonus effect again.

Bonus effect! For getting 50 submission points on subject in one day!

-LOVELOCK-

Normally, when you keep a subject in submission for a long time, the subject will develop feelings for you. Even if you are really cruel. This is usually known as the Stockholm syndrome. It is sort of a coping mechanism. With this lock, you can prevent this. By having this lock on, the subject will develop no loving feeling towards you. In fact all their submission will come from fear alone. They might hate you endlessly, but be too afraid to do anything about it.

Note: You can switch off this lock at anytime. When you do, all the love you have gathered in the subject previously, will return. No new love will be gathered when the lock is on. And even if the subject loves you completely, when this lock is on, that love will turn into fear.

Well that seemed really sadistic. Did I really want to do that to Gretchen? ...No, not yet at least. Right now I needed all the warm feelings from her to help me stay employed. The more she hated me the harder it would probably get for me. It was good thing I could turn it on and off, it could be a fun experiment at some point.

And oh yes, seemed like I unlocked another trait as well. Let's check it out.
