[DLC] Eleara's mishap

The blonde elven princess panted a little as she continued to escalate the mountain. It had been a extremely long trek, but she was finally nearing the temple she was seeking. The ancient texts had spoken of this legendary location, nearly inaccessible by normal means. Still, Elara was no normal elf, and even if she had yet not succeeded in her task to get DEBUG_HERO to breed her, no matter how much she made it clear she wanted it, she was easily skilled enough to make this journey on her own.

A grin on her face, Elara's senses tipped her off to a threat that had appeared out of the sky, several large birds of a species she didn't recognize swopping down, their bodies brimming with magic. Quickly dodging their attacks, the elf took out her bow and got to work. In less than a minute, they were nothing but corpses falling from the sky. After quickly checking them for loot, but finding nothing but rapidly decaying bodies, she set her sights on the temple again.

The writings did mention protectors, maybe the birds were some of those? At any rate, they weren't a threat, not to an experienced elf such as herself, daughter of the Queen as she was. Mother did not let her skip out on training, not even a single day in her entire life while she lived with her. A few more attacks by the birds later, and Eleara found herself standing at the doors of the temple. Not wasting any time, the princess pushed the large doors open, only to be attacked by even more birds, a swarm of them swooping from the sky, having snuck up on her, ready to take her down.

After countless volleys of arrows, and a bit of magic, however, the only one remaining was the elven princess. Not wanting to give them the time to attack again, Eleara rushed into the temple, hoping she'd be able to find the great source of magic the books had mentioned, the reason for her journey. A potential weapon to use, to help their quest.
