Emily "remembers".

As the glow faded away from Emily's eyes, she looked to Rembrosea... relieved?

"Oh God. I had a headache just looking for you! Why are you packing up? Mom said that this was family time!" said Emily suddenly.

"Um...but my boyfriend is nearby?" said Rembrosea, just to throw out a test response because Emily suddenly changed demeanor.

"Oh so you're going to leave Family for your man? Look Rem, I know you are rich, you have your own car and you have a super model body but you don't need to flaunt those things all the time." chastised Emily.

"Holy shit." thought Rem. "She's adapted to what I am now."

"Hello? Earth to Rembrosea? Did your brain sink to your tits or something?" teased her sister slightly.

Rembrosea would snap back to life and then respond, "Hey I was just thinking about him you know and I wasn't going to leave you guys out of the loop completely! You jump to conclusions too much. You know I'm always busy because of my studies. Give me some time to myself for once!"

"Ugh...okay...right... you are still college busy bee." Emily would say, defeated on this subject. "I'm sorry."

Rembrosea was really impressed how all her parts were being represented here. She'd need to remember to use this contact power more often. For now she had to roll with it. "It's okay sis. You should take this time to enjoy yourself too you know? There's got to be the right guy out there for you among all that sand and surf!"

"You mean like how you can find the right guy around every corner through that one piece?" said Emily with a groan.

"Emily... just try." said Rembrosea back with a flat look.

Emily headed back with a shrug, leaving Rembrosea to her own devices. It was true that Emily was lacking in the looks department but at least now she fixed part of the problem with herself not being recognized. Nevertheless this necklace had a lot of potential that hasn't been explored. It would be worth it to grab her stuff from the family and head out but also beneficial to stay...the beach was practically a proving ground!
