It was time for her dose

“Diana, you may not be thinking straight,” you said carefully, her expression unchanged. “Maybe we should find somewhere to administer your dose first.” At this there was a shift in her, and she straightened, taking her hand off the doorknob.

“Ah… I think you’re right doctor,” she acceded with a smile. You were relieved at first, but there was a mischievous glint in her eye. “I know just the place.” She put her hand on the doorknob and turned, despite it not wanting to, and a wrenching sound was heard followed by a heavy clank. The door began to swing open and with one hand she grabbed the front of your shirt and with the other she pushed through to the mystery room.

It was… just another long hallway. This one looked a lot more utilitarian, metal walls, floor and ceiling with stark fluorescent lights. You could see it extended quite a ways before rounding a sharp left turn. The superheroine was still all smiles and started marching down the corridor.

“Diana wait!” you called after her, voice echoing off the walls. She did stop, thankfully.

“Oh that’s right… my dose,” she remembered, and then she was standing so close to you you could feel the heat of her body. Her hands moved to your crotch, the combination of her sudden want for you and intimate space starting your motor. She unzipped you, nostrils flaring. Well at least she was willing to get treatment. You guessed that this would probably as private a place as any and if you were quick you could-

“Ms Prince?”

Diana had the presence of mind to quickly pull your zipper back up while you stood completely frozen. The stranger’s voice felt like a megaphone from behind you as it rang off the walls. Your mind was definitely exaggerating for effect. You could see Wonder Woman’s expression, only a flicker of concern passing over it before she put on a convivial mask. She had a way of subtly pushing your arm that made you turn and somehow you were able to appear as two people casually standing in a secret metal hallway. The man at the door had a friendly smile too, wearing a sharp blue suit, matched incongruous with the stylish designer sneakers on his feet. You remembered he was one of those people you recognized in the ballroom. The Silicon Valley guy. “Or is it Ambassador Prince?” he tried, still smiling, hands in his pockets. Unthreatening. “Or Wonder Woman?”

“Mr Kord,” Diana nodded, returning the greeting.

“You can call me Ted,” he said with a wave. “Were you looking for the bathroom too?”

It was a convenient excuse offered by Ted Kord, CEO of Kord Industries. You thought about taking it but Wonder Woman cut in.

“I am searching for the truth,” she said, bold and unashamed for her ‘infiltration’. “This collaboration of powerful men may very well be a den of lies. I will reveal Luthor’s true plans. ” God she was dramatic, you couldn’t help thinking, but her charisma had you hanging on her heroic stance. Even Ted appeared moved by her sincerity, and he smirked.

“A Luthor in bed with a Lord, it does trigger a few red flags for folks in the know,” he said knowingly. You sensed a slight shift in Wonder Woman’s shoulders, the choice of words and the imagery it conjured doing something to her. She seemed to let it pass over her though, and Kord continued. “It’s why my company got involved. When I heard Lexcorp and S.T.A.R labs were teaming up to spearhead this initiative I threw my hat into the ring to keep tabs. Believe me, Miss Justice League, I’m here to ensure this is all above board. And if it isn’t I have every intention to launch the contingencies I have in place. But I can’t have you steam rolling through it all in your pursuit of things you don’t have any understanding of. No offense.”

Diana’s eyes narrowed, offense probably taken. She sniffed, then seemed distracted.

“You’re sweating, doctor,” she murmured to you under her breath. And you were, a bit more than usual from this tense standoff. “Get behind me.” You acquiesced though you weren't sure what kind of danger she was expecting from this man in the blue suit. He was handsome and well built but didn’t seem like a physical match at all to Wonder Woman. Seeing her defensive stance the CEO put his palms up to placate her and your fears.

“Listen, I know I can’t stop you. But … at least work with me here,” said Ted, starting over. “ I got into this knowing the risks, and to be honest I wouldn’t mind havi-”

Wonder Woman stepped back and put a protective arm in front of you.

There was a bone cracking thump and Ted Kord dropped, crumpling to the floor. He had been hit in the back of the head, and the previously unseen attacker lifted him by the back of the collar and threw the **** CEO backward through the hallway door like he weighed nothing, then stepped inside themselves. Your eyes went wide, confused and in disbelief on how this was possible. There was a deep metal clank as the door was sealed shut again and a smile curled open to reveal sharp teeth.

“Found you,” Cheetah snarled.
