She was flustered.

Alora took a moment to calm herself, though colour was still present on her face. "Well of course. I know I'm cute," she muttered quietly. "Anyone could see that. But you know, you don't look so bad either."

Slowly, Rab slid up his hood. It hung over his eyes, and it masked the nervous face beneath. "Uh. Thanks. I think I'll keep this on for now. The sun is getting in my eyes."

"That's no fun, but fine."

With the cover, he felt more confident. It was almost like another side of him was present when he had the security, like a mask. It was sneaking out even without it in the presence of Alora, but he couldn't keep it up. But then, with his protection returned to him, he spoke without hesitation.

"Since the sun is causing your face to turn red, why don't we find a place to rest inside? We could have some water and cool down. Maybe I'll take off more than my hood, if you're lucky."

"What the heck does that mean?!"

He chuckled, and smirked beneath the shadow of the hood. "Just teasing. But what do you think?"

She grumbled quietly beneath her breath. "My house is pretty close to here. We could stop inside for a moment."

"Your place? That's really bold of you. We've only just met."

Alora glared up at him. "Do you want to come over, or get thrown into the bushes?"

"I'll be good."
