Investigate the sound

Alex leaves his room, and much to his horror, sees Mr. Murphy setting some packages on the kitchen table. Quickly glancing around, Alex looks for some evidence of Jack’s location, but he must have had enough advance warning that he was able to hide. Nervously, Alex tries to imagine the possible hiding places.

“Mr. Murphy! I expected you would be later.”

“And I expected you would be earlier, Alex. I let you sleep in this morning, figuring you needed to get caught up on your rest, but don’t let this become the norm. I expect you up at first light, just as I am.”

“Yes, sir. Of course,” says Alex discreetly lifting the tablecloth and looking under the table. Seeing no one, his eyes dart toward the pantry door.

Mr. Murphy takes one package from the table and begins to move toward the pantry. Alarmed, Alex says, “Here, sir..... Let me do that for you! You’ve been out and about all morning; the least I can do is put things away for you!”

Alex practically trips over himself as he rushes to his employer and snatches the package out of his hands. A startled Mr. Murphy says, “It’s really no big —“

“Not at all, sir. Not at all! Why don’t I take care of this so you can get out to the shop; I’m sure you have plenty to do. I’ll join you as soon as I have put everything away.”

“I need to sit down for a bit first and have a bite to eat. I’m feeling a bit peckish.”

As Mr. Murphy turns his back to get a plate, Alex carefully opens the pantry door and peeks inside. Seeing no one, his shoulders say, and he looks around the room again. “Where could be be?”

“Say, Alex, I could have sworn that my wife left a plate of pastries and fruit out here. Have you seen it?”

Feeling his ears growing red, Alex thinks quickly. “Um, I think Elaine had it for breakfast.”

The man’s eyebrows rise. “All of it? That’s a lot of food.” His eyes look doubtfully toward his daughter’s door. “And why is she still in her room?”

At that moment, both men hear a low moan coming from Elaine’s room. Alex heard that sound come from her before — most recently when she breathlessly suggested that he could cum in her ass if he wanted to.

“Well,” thinks Alex, “at least I know where Jack went.”

“Did you hear that?” asks Mr. Murphy.

“No....” Alex responds with a blank expression. “I didn’t hear anything. Perhaps you heard something out in your shop. Maybe we should—“

Another moan — this one louder — comes from behind Elaine’s door.

“That sounds like Elaine,” says Mr. Murphy.

Thinking quickly, Alex says, “Right.... Um.... I just remembered.... She’s sick.”

“Sick?”

A third moan, louder and more protracted, hits their ears.

“Yeah.... It was because of all that food she ate.... She said her stomach was bothering her and that she needed to lay down.”

Her father looks concerned. “I should go check on her.” He starts toward the door, when Alex says, “No! I mean — she’s probably indisposed. I’m sure she’ll be fine, though. Why don’t we go to the shop, and you can —“

“So hot!”

Elaine’s voice saying those words would ordinarily have been enough fuel for Alex’s wet dreams for the next month, but at the moment, they turn his heart to ice.

“What’s she saying?” asks Mr. Murphy. “Hot?”

“Um.... Fever. Yes, she’s quite feverish.”

“I thought you said it was an upset stomach! Now it’s a fever?”

Alex thinks quickly. “Well, you know how one thing leads to another. I told her to lay down put a wet washcloth on her forehead. I’m sure she’ll be fine.”

Elaine’s voice is heard again. “I’m soooo wet!”

Alex answers his boss’s stern glance. “Evidently she didn’t wring out the washcloth well enough before applying it. Common mistake.”

Alex feels his heart threatening to pound its way out of his chest.

Mr. Murphy says, “I should go check on her.”

Alex grabs his arm and says, “No! I mean — she could be contagious!”

“How can a tummy ache from overeating be contagious?”

“It’s better to be safe than sorry. I summoned a doctor, and we should wait for him to clear her for visitors.”

“A doctor?” Mr. Murphy looks increasingly concerned.

They hear Elaine again, saying, “I’m so ready.... Please stick it in me right now!”

Mr. Murphy looks bewildered. Alex says, “Well, I guess the doctor got here already. Sounds like he is about to take her temperature with a thermometer. Why don’t we give them some privacy while you show me the shop?”

He leads a bewildered Mr. Murphy to the door. The older man stops and is about to say something when Alex detects the unmistakable sound of thumping beginning in Elaine’s room and rapidly growing in volume and speed. Not wanting to give his boss a chance to ask more questions, he grabs his arm and says, “Sir, you know how embarrassing those ‘female issues’ can be — we don’t want to be around for that, do we?”

Mr. Murphy still looks perplexed, but lets Alex lead him away and says, “No, I suppose not....”

The men arrive at the shop, and Alex hastily looks over his shoulder at the house. He practically pushes his boss through the shop’s door when Elaine’s voice cries out, “Oh yeah!!! Right there!!!”

“Sounds like the doctor is giving her exactly what she needs for a quick recovery,” Alex says, closing the door and drowning out Elaine’s cries.

“Will the doctor come here and talk to me when he is done?” asks Mr. Murphy.

Alex responds. “Um.... I’m sure the doctor will cum somewhere.... But believe me, I’ll be watching for him.”

Mr. Murphy, evidently satisfied with that explanation, busies himself at his workbench, while Alex positions himself by the window, looking at the house.
