Just barely.

You just make it to the river and jump when you feel him grab for you. Thankfully you make it into the water. As you Surface you look back to see that the man doesn't jump in after you.

You smile thinking he must not be able to swim. The luck there is amazing cant belief that this worked. You want to make sure that he cant catch up to you. So you swim down the river for a good 20 minutes then come out on the side opposite of the guy.

Just to make sure he doesn't find you. You get moving fast can't hang around here all day. You head deeper into the woods now that you can somewhat make your way around the island. You look at your map and its not whole any longer.

Your dip in the water and the swim has damaged the map you can still make out most of the half map you now have. You decide to head for one of the safe houses.

There is one close by so you start that way. When you get there you see it looks like no one is around. But you hide is the bush's and stake it out. You want to be sure its absolutely safe. So time to wait and see but not too long.
