'Monstrous' Races

The range of creatures to be found in the Monster Manuals, and from other material, is so vast that it's difficult to make any sort of sweeping generalisations. Perhaps you think a certain kind of so-called 'monster' might have a softer side to be uncovered, and then again, perhaps you're looking for an exotic partner who will need some taming or persuasion to warm to you.

... Or maybe you are looking for someone (or something) fresh from the more malevolent or wild ends of the alignment grid. To each their own, after all- not every hero successfully avoids the sting of defeat, and there might have been more than a few threats out there with something other than food, wealth, or destruction on their mind (at least in this fantasy).
