Jade continues on her way.

Jade pauses as she hears the scream, knowing there's nothing she can do that wont result in herself receiving the same fate, she picks up her pace and keeps moving.

About half an hour later by her best estimate, Jade spots something a little further into the treeline, possibly a small building of some kind. Her footsteps slow as she considers what whether or not to investigate.

Her gaze shifts between the edge of the treeline and whatever is further inside the wooded area. On the one hand, its likely to be one of the locations marked on the map, so it might have something I can use. But at the same time, following the treeline is more likely to lead me past something I can use as a landmark to figure out where I am on the map. She thinks. I should probably check it out, even if its nothing, I can just come back to the treeline and keep going the way I was.
