An old "friend"

The nude redhead walked into a man with tussled graying black shoulder-length hair and a bushy mustache to boot.

"Oh, are you Mackenzie Fairbairn?"

"Uh, yeah..." Mackenzie was odded out by this encounter. "Why, who are you?"

"Yeah, the wardrobe checks out. My name is Earl Hickey. You might not remember me, but we went to college together."

Mackenzie's mind flashed back to those horrible years. She vaguely remembered an "Earl Hickey" as a background acquaintance, but didn't see what the man was getting at.

"Oh yeah, we did..." she chuckled nervously.

"Yeah, you might remember having wardrobe issues in that time. Those issues, and that ... stunt, was due to me and my buddy Eric. We wanted to get you back at disrespecting Eric, and noticed your ... door photo, so we thought the best way to do that was to steal all your clothes and make you the 'Shy Streaker' on campus. And what do you know, it worked!"

Mackenzie didn't know how to process this information. Earl continued, "Recently, I won the lottery and got hit by a truck in the process. I learned about this metaphysical concept called 'karma' in the hospital, and I made it a duty of mine to make amends with everyone I've ever wronged. And look at you now, seems like I've done quite a number."

Mackenzie began to fume with the influx of emotions occupying her brain. "Here, I wanted to make it up to you." He began removing his flannel shirt. Before Mackenzie could react, he threw it at her and whipped off his T-shirt, throwing it at her in the process. He pulled down his jeans and underwear before he too tossed it at the redhead. His boots and socks were soon kicked off, and a hairy greaseball stood before the naked Mackenzie in all his likewise-naked glory.

"Ummm, ummm ..." was all the nonplussed Mackenzie could say. She didn't re-don Earl's discarded clothing, but Hickey was not so easily deterred in his drive to make things right. "There's someone else I want you to meet..."
