What's next?
Onto the beach.
As Jade continues to walk, she's almost moving at a run by the time she starts to see flickers of blue sky through the trees. Moments later, she bursts onto a sunny beach that stretches as far as the eye can see in both directions. The perfect sand is marked with an occasional large stone or seashell, perfect in a way that is almost unheard of in nature.
For several seconds, she admires the view, the water lapping lightly at the shoreline. But remembering where she is, and the dangers that might be hidden just out of sight, she quickly turns her attention to where to go.
Glancing left, she studies the shoreline for a moment, then turns right as she starts to walk again.
