What does she see?
Nothing.
Jade stands at the door for several seconds, her eyes searching the growing darkness for any sign of the men she had seen earlier.
She sees no sign of them. The only sound reaching her ears is the light breeze causing the grass to sway.
After several long seconds, she takes a half step out the door and looks again. The real question here is, do I want to stay here and try getting a little sleep? Or do I want to stay on the move?
