As tempting as staying on the vibrating broom is, you shake your head, and slip from the floating stick to stand on the grass, covering yourself as best you can with your torn costume. The Witch's black-painted lips pout coquettishly as she scoots back on Woody, and the broom pulls itself back from the bush to carry her around you slowly.

"It's your loss," she says, shrugging as she looks you over, moon-pale face unreadable. "Well, I suppose you're a bit out-of-sorts, so I can't blame you. Still, if he brought you here, the least I can do is offer some hospitality."

You glance around at the area of the garden you were flown to. An open lawn sits between the hedge-walls, a variety of plants growing at the corners and a small workbench set between two tall torches. You turn to the Witch and utter a plaintive meow, grimacing as you tug the collar around your neck.

"The collar? Oh, I've seen the like before. Catherine puts them to use every year. I take it you want it off?"

You nod, refraining from trying to speak again. She floats behind you, and you turn to watch her come back around.

"I could try... but it might be difficult." She lifts a finger to her chin, eyes lingering on the collar. "I'll tell you what: I can do my best to remove it if you'll help me first."

You watch her curiously, tipping your head as an inquisitive meow escapes. She laughs, and floats over to the workbench, sliding from Woody to stand before it.

"I've been working on some potions--me and the girls come here every year just to share our recipes--but I'm in need of a test subject." She gestures to a row of various bottles sitting on the table, all different shapes and colors. "If you try one for me, I'll help you out. Deal? I'll even let you pick which one you try."

You walk over to give the potions a look, then frown at the Witch. It can't be that bad, can it? You really want the collar off, and if drinking a little bottle of some "potion" will get her to help you...
