I decide to read one of Mia’s letters again. This is the 2nd letter she sent to me. By this time, she has already been in the capital for a whole month. It is also one of my favorite letters.

As for me, remember how I am now a spellsword and I can use fire magic. Well, apparently i have very low mana reserves now, so i first have to train in expanding that. The only fire magic i managed to learn so far is to create a tiny flame on my index finger. That's only good to light candles with. It's kinda lame, but then I watch the fire mages here use some of their spells and I can't help but want to become just as good as they are. It’ll take some time for me to learn some proper spells, but that should just be a matter of time.

On one of these trips we had like two spellcasters who specialized in different elements. Then, when we were fighting a large troll, they combined their spells. I had never seen anything like it before. Though that is probably because our village only had Alice as a single spellcaster.
