Meeting The Cute Girls

As I’m browsing through Reddit, I glance at one of the hallways from the main building behind me. I see a small group of girls talking, and after taking a second look, I notice that they are the group of cute girls. Scarlet, May, Daisy, and the other girl are just hanging out inside, but they seem to be walking towards me. The latter looks in my direction for a second, and while I’m not sure if she is looking directly at me, she then stares at my face -- she doesn’t seem to recognize me though, so there’s a chance they just keep walking.

I try to act casual, so I go back to stare at my phone, but then I can’t help but look back. The group of girls is no longer in sight, but I do see Daisy nearby, and she looks like she is walking towards me -- not in my direction, like she is approaching me directly. Fuck, what do I do? Why is she coming over here? Are her friends watching? What's going on?? - I immediately get nervous, but I try not to panic, although I can’t hide it. But before I can think more, she approaches me.

“Hello... André, right?... What are you doing?” - Daisy asks me in a lively manner, completely catching me off guard. I don’t have time to react, and she curiously leans to look at my phone, but that’s when I look up to see her pretty face. Her friendly smile makes me a little more nervous, but I’m more anxious of her seeing all the weird stuff in my phone, so I immediately turn it off -- but that means I now have to respond to her question, and I really don’t know how.

“Umm, hi… I’m just waiting for next class to start…” - I reply sheepishly, as Daisy keeps staring down at me, and stands right next to the bench. She now focuses her gaze on me, and I freeze at the sight of her adorable, ocean blue eyes. I feel like I can see the sky through them, although I’m actually looking at the sky right now, but it's still a wonderful sight. It’s a little awkward though, since she just stares at me, and I stare back, without either of us saying anything else. But after a moment of mutual staring, she decides to sit right next to me on the bench for some reason -- she seems very friendly, but even this seems odd.

“How are you doing?” - Daisy asks me, and I start to realize that she is probably a very outgoing person. I was already thinking of that when she introduced herself, but now she directly approached me to talk to her. I don’t think I could ever do that with anyone, not if they are a stranger in school. But aside from her friendliness, her beauty stuns me for a second, and it’s probably the main reason I can’t talk right now -- but since she is acting like we are old friends, I try to do the same.

“Good, I mean, this place is huge and I will probably need a lot of time to get used to this environment… But apart from that, everything is good” - I respond, trying to match her demeanor, and **** a friendly smile, which she seems to like. She moves her light ginger hair a little to see me, and then smiles back. Her gorgeous expression stuns me once again, and I start getting lost in her eyes - Woah, she is so pretty… Wait, I can’t say that to her…

“That’s nice to hear… But hey, have you been able to meet new people or are you having problems talking to someone?... You know, since you are the new guy here, and I know it’s a bit scary to be in a strange city where you don’t know anything…” - Daisy asks me in what sounds like a playful tone, but I can’t tell if she is trying to tease me, or just curious to know me a bit more - Wait… Everyone here is supposed to be new, why am I the only one new here??. I get a little confused by her question, but since she already seems like she wants to be my friend, I don’t hesitate to joke around a little.

“Am I seriously the only new guy here?” - I chuckle, and I cause Daisy to laugh, but she then leans forward a little, like she is trying to listen to me closer - Wow, she really is interested in hearing me speak, that’s nice… Maybe she wants me to be-... No, she is just a friend. I get a little shy to see her staring at me intently, specially because she is holding her head with one hand, and she doesn’t break eye contact. It’s a bit intense to have her focusing on me so much, but I like it, so I try to keep the conversation going.

“Well, I do have an old friend here… I think I know some other people, but yea… It’s not that scary but I don’t know how to talk to people… It’s more like I don’t know who to talk to…” - I say, trying to put more thought into my answer, and it apparently makes Daisy think - I don’t know what she is thinking about, but she looks cuter than ever.

“Right…” - Daisy mutters, and I can’t tell if she is being sarcastic, questioning my response, or just being thoughtful for no reason -- but either way, it’s better for me to say something else, or things are going to turn awkward soon.

“At least I know you now, right?” - I ask with a friendly smile, Daisy giggles, but then just nods, and doesn’t say anything else for a while. She takes another moment to think of what she wants to say, but she makes me a little nervous - Why is she doing this? Is this like some sort of prank? I don’t know if she thinks I’m funny or just wants to mock me or something… Please say something…

“Well, since you now know me, maybe I could introduce you to my friends…” - Daisy finally replies, and while I’m glad to hear her say something, I did not expect that kind of answer. I’m excited to meet her cute friends, but I’m not sure if it will be a good idea to talk to them right now. I get a little worried, and shy, as I already know I’m not going to be able to talk with 4 cute girls at the same time, but Daisy is calling her friends to come over, so I don’t have much time to think.

“You know, m-maybe next time… I’m not sure if I could talk to them right now if I-...” - I blurt out in panic, as I see that Daisy’s friends are already walking towards us, but she interrupts me before I can say anything else - Oh shit, they are approaching me… What do I do??

“Shh, it’s okay… They are cool, I promise, just trust me, they are going to like you…” - Daisy assures me, but not even that calms me down, as I now see that her friends are sitting next to us on the bench, and I can’t escape. They are only 4 in total, but I still have to talk to all of them, and knowing me, that is going to be extremely difficult -- not only because they are so pretty, but because they seem to be too playful.

I have always talked to girls. in highschool, I hung out with a couple of them, and I generally felt really comfortable talking with them, and being around them. I think that was because I had known them for years, and they were not really new in my life. I do remember when I joined my previous school. I was really anxious, and I couldn’t talk to a lot of people. After two weeks, I was friends with almost everyone, but the first couple days were very hard for me -- and I think this will be the case for this new school.

So as the three girls come to the bench, and sit right next to me, I can’t help but start to sweat, and panic, trying to come up with something to say -- or at least try not to be so awkward, which I’m already failing at. I do have some time to think though, because Daisy’s friends focus on talking with her before me, so I’m just left out of the conversation for a couple of seconds -- and that’s enough for me to regain my composure.

“Oh, come on Daisy... You are already harassing the new guy, aren’t you?... What did I tell you about personal space?” - May asks Daisy teasingly, and it sounds like she is scolding her for some reason, but they just laugh. I can tell they are just joking, but I still grow a little concerned, just from the idea of Daisy being a sort of harasser, or maybe even bully - Why would they joke about that?? She definitely doesn’t look evil, but I don’t want to be harassed… not even if they are cute girls…

“Sorry for that joke… I didn’t mean to harass you… I’m just trying to make you part of the school, that’s all…” - Daisy says, but then giggles, and I really can’t tell if she is joking or not, but thankfully May steps in to explain a little more.

“Excuse my friend, but she is saying the truth… You might have heard our names in class, but since you are new, we wanted to greet you in a more… direct manner…” - May adds politely, but I can hear some of Daisy’s playfulness in her voice, and it doesn’t really help me. I look at all the girls surrounding me, but I let out a nervous laugh, as I’ve never sat with 4 girls at my side -- Daisy and May are at my left, while Scarlet and the other one are at my right. I feel like I’m trapped, and I might get assaulted. The fact that they are cute doesn’t make things less scary, I’m still afraid of whatever can happen -- and I even get defensive, just in case any of them tries to do anything odd.

“Hi, welcome to the school… I’m Scarlet, how are you?” - Scarlet says out of nowhere, as she stands up in front of me, and waves her hand to greet me. I jump a little to see her, but I’m instantly relieved to see that she is just saying hi to me, and I don’t waste time to say hi back -- although I still keep an eye on the other girls, maybe they are planning to attack me, and Scarlet is the distraction.

“Hi, I’m André... Right now, I’m good, I guess… just a little bit intimidated by all of you, that’s all… I thought you were going to **** me or something for a moment…” - I reply, still a little nervous, but managing to make a friendly joke, which thankfully works on all of them. The four girls burst out laughing, and I’m surprised to hear some of them are so amused by such a simple joke - They either don’t have funny guys in the school or are just faking it for some reason. I just awkwardly sit there, and try to laugh with them, but I can’t make much sense of the situation, so I have to wait for them to stop laughing.

“I like him already, he is funny…” - May comments casually, and causes me to smile a little. Just the fact that one of these girls thinks I’m funny is already worth it for me to go to college. I think I even hear one of the girls saying I’m cute as well, but that might be my imagination - Still, if I can make them laugh then I’m definitely using 4 years of my life to study here… just seeing them smile means everything to me.

“I’m Ellie by the way, nice to meet you” - the girl that I forgot the name of says all of a sudden, but doesn’t stand up like Scarlet, she just remains seated to my right. She seems a little shy to talk to me, but I don’t pay her much attention, since the other girls are still looking solely at me, and I also don’t find her that attractive - I don’t know, she is cute of course, but I’m just not so interested in her… Maybe 4 cute girls is too much for me, so at least one of them doesn’t stand out too much.

After I look at Ellie for a brief second, I turn back to look at Daisy and Scarlet. They are both smiling at me, and it’s absolutely captivating. I keep staring at them, even though I’m a bit shy to do so, but then something else catches my attention. The last girl at my left stands up, and positions herself right next to Scarlet, so she is also in front of me, and there’s no way I can ignore her -- she is just too beautiful to not pay my full attention to, and it would be a sin not to admire her for years on end.
