Make camp for the night

Alex locates a good location for setting up camp for the night. He stops the carriage and explains what they will be doing.

As he busies himself to prepare the camp to be as comfortable as possible for the ladies, Tabitha says, “If you don’t mind, I believe my sister and I will take this opportunity to wash up and refresh ourselves before dinner.” There is a small creek not far from the campsite, and the girls make their way down to the water.

Alex continues with his task, but as he does so, he finds himself distracted by the thought that just a stone’s throw from him, the two ladies in his charge are likely naked and exposing their beautiful bodies to anyone who might happen to look that way. He rebukes himself for even thinking such a thing, but the more he tries to keep himself focused, the more he begins to daydream about what they must look like.

“Maybe I should go check on them,” he tells himself. “It’s probably not good for them to be totally out of my sight for so long. After all, what kind of protector would I be if I allowed something to happen to them?”
