Lynn walked over.

To his surprise, Lynn was suddenly coming in his direction. She must be leaving, he thought. The beetle scurried up to his hand, and he secreted it away back into its box.

But he was wrong. She stopped in front of him. She was even more adorable up close, with a her slim body, white skirt, and the ribbon tying back her hair. The way she stood as well, with her hands behind her back, and the sweet smile on her face with rosy cheeks. However, he became incredibly worried. If she saw that all of what happened was his doing, she might be upset.

"Hey there," she said softly. "Those goggles your wearing look like impressive technology."

He perked up. "Yes. Thank you. I worked very hard on them, and for a long time."

"Thank you."

Vibit didn't respond, as he didn't know what to say.

"For helping me," she added. "I know it was you. Your inventions are brilliant. That was the funniest thing I've seen in a long time, and she really deserved it. Don't be embarrassed. You're incredibly smart to have made those things."

"How did you..."

"I study asuran tech. I find it fascinating. I think your people are brilliant, much different than us, and kinda cute. What do those goggles do, anyhow? See through clothing?" She chuckled.

Colour came to his nose. "No. They can't do that. They're my all-purpose tool for recording information as well as controlling some of my other gadgets. I feel comfortable with them on. More than when they're off."

"You must let me see more! I rarely get to speak with an asura, and honestly, they usually dismiss me right away. Please?"

"Oh, ah. Yes. Of course. I'm not really use to showcasing in such a broad manner... Perhaps I can find something specific worth showing. Of course, I don't have everything on me either, but--"

"That's all right. Say, how about you meet me at my house in a bit, and you can show me all your nifty inventions! Finally, I can get hands-on with an asura, instead of them smacking me away when I even try to study their creations. And I'm home alone this evening." She giggled.

Vibit scratched his head. "S-Sure. That sounds fine."

What am I doing? I don't have anything prepared. But she's so cute. I can't just say no. She's so excitable though, so maybe I can show pretty much anything and she'll love it.
