Lauren is on vacation

Lauren had never been more excited in her life. It was winter break, meaning she had no school classes, and she had just asked for two weeks off from work. She was going on vacation!

Right now, however, she was home on her day off; trying to decide where to have her vacation. On her coffee table sat brochures for various places. After an hour, she had finally narrowed it down to two.

The first was for a tropical cruise. Lauren lived in a place that got pretty cold in the winter; even if it didn’t snow. A few days on a boat enjoying the tropical island sun sounded heavenly.

The second was for a ski resort up north. Lauren had always wanted to try skiing, considering that it never snowed where she lived. And if it got too cold up there, she could always check out the sauna. Or maybe even just hang out in the lobby and flirt.

Lauren was excited either way. Whichever she chose, she knew that this was going to be the best vacation she had ever had in her life!
