Join them

You find Ashley and the dark haired woman together at one of the bars at the back of the dance floor. They're standing very close to each other and laughing conspiratorially.

"Andrew," Ashley says as you approach the bar. "This is Sofia."

Sofia nods at you, grinning. "Hey" is all she says.

"Good to meet you, Sofia," you say. "You look really sexy tonight."

"I look really sexy every night," Sofia says with a grin. "I'm just usually not wearing so many clothes."

Damn, straight to the point. You knew that picking this girl out of the crowd was a good idea.

"Buy us all a few shots," Ashley tells you.

She's getting ahead of herself. But she's also the whole reason you're even here talking to Sofia, so she's definitely earned another drink. You flag down the bartender and order three shots, handing the woman on the other side a twenty and telling her to keep the change. The vodka shots are placed in front of you and you hand them out to the women.

"To getting smashed," Ashley says, raising the shot glass. "In every sense of the word."

"I can drink to that," Sofia says.

The three of you spend a little while drinking and chatting with you paying for most of the drinks. Surprisingly, Sofia seems genuinely into you, and not just because you're paying for her intoxication.

It's nearly last call. Sofia looks you in the eye. "So, Ashley tells me you're good with your hands," she says. "I was wondering if I could see what else you're good with."

You smile.
