Into the building.
Seeing little other option, Jade quickly opens the door and steps inside, closing the door carefully behind herself before she bothers to check the inside.
The interior of the building is set up almost like a living room. There's a short couch with a short table in front of it. Across from that are a pair of plush rocking chairs. On the wall opposite the door is a bookshelf with an assortment of books and magazines.
Well, this was pretty dumb of me, Jade realizes suddenly, This room might offer me some cover, but I've also only got one exit, and it wouldn't surprise me if the men stopped to check this place just on principal.
Taking a deep breath as she collects her thoughts, she realizes that she only has two realistic options, Lay low and hope they pass, or make a run for it.
