“Are we still waiting on someone?” Stewart asks, indicating the empty chair.
“No, Your Highness,” replies Norbier. “That seat was held by Lord Eugermeister, whom you may recall, passed away rather suddenly a few months ago. Your father had yet to appoint a replacement. The position remains vacant, and may be filled at your pleasure.”
