You already know what Tobys answer will be, by the defiant stare he gives you as he mulls this over for a few seconds “I’ll never be ok with being a girl.”

You are pretty sure that answer will come to bite him in the ass. But he had a fair choice to keep his options open.

“Then lets get down to the nitty gritty. Think of the next part as creating a character for a very longterm very involved LARP, with the three archetypes acting as classes.

In a game you still have a lot of leeway how to play , say, a Wizard, but the class will have a huge impact on what initial impression people will get of you. And it has a huge impact on which tasks you will succeed at and which goals will be hard to accomplish.

I have boiled it down to twelve questions: Three sets of three pitting each archetype against another so you can choose between the strength and weakness of either and set of three general ones. Each set moving from boon, to balanced to drawback.

I won’t tell you what the archetypes are called yet, because that might just distract you from choosing the traits you feel are in your best interest instead of chasing a particular label. Besides I am rather curious if you naturally gravitate towards one archetype or go for multiclassing so to speak.“

This was where the real fun began! In roleplaying games you always go for the Summoner-Classes. Something about having a powerful otherworldly minion bound to your service, just speaks to you. Especially if the being summoned is powerful enough to devastate your character if they ever broke free. It was a thrilling thought, that came from the same place that made other people go swimming with sharks. (With the difference being that it was just your character who’d get maimed if you miscalculated)

And then there is also the fact that every proper supervillain needs a right-hand man. Sometimes they were utterly loyal, but there was also a tradition of righthand men with a rather spotty record of obedience and/or loyalty.

So once you had decided to change Toby as payback for Kates heartache, it was really quite obvious what kind of dynamic you wanted to go for.

But that still left a tantalizing array of possible options. Letting Toby have a bit of a say what route to go for was as good a way to narrow it down as any. It had also been a concession to the part of you that had been dubious of the morality of making him a girl and in love with you, on top of being your henchman.

But once you hit on the idea of using love to ensure Toby went along with your plans -however grudgingly - you simply had to do it. It resonated perfectly with your sisters heartache being your biggest grievance against Toby. And the idea of your righthand woman being bound to you by something as insubstantial as mist and yet stronger than any chains just seemed delicious . Far better than guilt or fear.

The choices toby will make will determine what kind of henchwomen he will become.

The Primal Spitfire had been your catchall for a henchwomen who was defined by physical prowess and a wild side.

The Lady of War would serve you with elegance and skill.

The reclusive sage was the advisor in the background. (Because you’d defintely need one of those at some point. )

Since there was a chance Toby take traits from each of them you kept the archetypes rather broad, to ensure there would be enough oberlap. Once this was done you’d use your power to tweak the results to make sure his choices all worked as a cohesive whole.

You start going over the questions noting down Tobys answers after each one.

”Getting settled in your new life will no doubt be stressful for you, so let’s start with the boons.

Number one: Would you rather have an academic history of straight ‘A+’s in everything but sports and have a grace period of three months where the university staff will be extremely lenient with you or would you rather have access to a trust-fund generous enough to allow you a very comfortable lifestyle. ”

“Number two: Would you rather be extremely agile and dextrous but keep slipping into a demeanour and mannerisms whenever you aren’t paying attention to it, that are a tad more feminine than you are strictly comfortable with or would you rather confidently conduct yourself as you used to but turn into a bit of a graceless klutz because you are bad at accounting for the small differences between your old body and the new one?”“Number three: Would you rather be uncomfortable saying or doing something crude or have a habit of saying embarrassing thoughts out loud when your head isn’t in the game?”

“Number four: Would you rather be tall for a girl and have a voice that demands respect or have a body that is extremely low-maintenance when it comes to shaving, body-odor, periods and similar things.”

“I threw in the next choice because I know how proud you are of your Tae-Kwon-do. Do you chose to overcome a physical handicap with superior skill or power through with sheer brawn.

Number five: Would you rather have prodigious stamina and be able to train for hours without tiring but also get more impulsive as your boundless energy sometimes drives your body to move before you can think things through or would you rather be able to master the most intricate techniques and strategies with ease but end up funsized when you turn into a girl?” If Toby had chosen to be exceptionally tall your notes said to make her extremely skinny instead.

“Number six: Would you rather dress like a young lady whenever feasible or would you rather dress like a tomboy with a mild exhibitionist streak whenever you can get away with it. ”

“I see. If that is your choice you’ll probably be glad to hear that one of the next choices is basically a copout in case being good at girls stuff goes against your ego.

Number seven: Would you rather be a very quick learner when it comes to womens fashion, hygiene, donning bras and whatever other life skills a woman your age might need or would you rather no longer need glasses? “

“Number eight: Would you rather be astonishingly strong for someone your size and build but exercise made you feel a bit frisky or would you rather have a genius level intellect but also have a very active imagination and a tendency to space out whenever your brain spins a stray thought into an elaborate romantic fantasy and takes you along for the ride. ” If Toby had settled for a physical handicap at choice number five you wouldn’t need to change the wording here. He’d just get less bang for his buck.

“Number nine: Would you rather end up with an odd appearance that makes you stand out wherever you go or would you rather find it a lot harder to be the center of attention after becoming a girl?”

Only the general questions left to go.

“And for the grand finale I tried to incorporate some of the stuff Kate said kept being issues when you two were dating. So let’s start with her not making you feel like a stud and going from fun drunk to being a mess in record time.

Number ten: Would you rather find it really easy to have multiple orgasms or would you rather only get pleasantly sloshed when you drink and never reach the stage where you get sick, pass out or completely loose control and never get a hangover either? ”

“Next we have you much prefering it raw and you taking it a bit personal when Kate having cramps put a real damper on any attempted romance.

Number eleven: Would you rather only be able to conceive if you are actively trying to get pregnant but be very bad about remembering birth-control or would you rather have your period involve no pain and blood worth mentioning but makes you about as horny as it would usually have made you miserable? ”

“And for the last choice we turn to your favourite part of the female body. You can relate to how insecure you made Kate feel at times or get exactly what you wish.

Number twelve: Would you rather be busty with a captial B or would you rather be merely on the large side but feel jealous of any woman with bigger breasts to the point of seriously considering a push-up bra or padding? ”

“And that concludes the basic setup!” you exclaim, giving a less than enthused looking Toby a wink, “Now let’s see what Archetype seems the best fit for you: ”
