The warmth flooded through Brie's entire body as Lucas’ pace reached a frantic, desperate rhythm. The last remaining fragments of Brad’s resistance dissolved completely beneath the overpowering weight of the pill's effects, leaving only Brie—desperate, breathless, and eager to surrender.
