Chapter 3 by Fiftyfiftyfifty Fiftyfiftyfifty

He entered.

The door was open and he could hear numerous people laughing and talking within. He stepped inside, and made his way to a stool off to the side. It was a bit tricky, as the furnishings were not built for his stature, but he climbed on, leaned back against the wall, and hoped to fade into the scenery so he could people-watch in peace.

There were plenty of different folk. He saw a charr, a couple sylvari, and a bunch of humans. There were plenty of beauties as well. He couldn't help but observe the attractive human women of Divinity's Reach more closely than the rest. He always admired the human form for reasons even beyond him, as well as their fashion.

After collecting data for a while, he saw a familiar face step into the room. It was the woman from earlier--tanned skin, blond hair, red skirt--that so rudely bumped into him on the street and didn't even apologize. She wore a fashionable crimson top as well which was cut to show her navel, and she acted with copious amounts of confidence. He watched her enter, but she didn't notice him. She then moved up to one of the women near the front counter and they started to talk.

The other girl, who seemed to be a bit shorter, had shoulder-length light brown hair tied back with a pink ribbon, and a cute white and pale pink outfit with a skirt of her own. Her skin was pale, which contrasted against her beautiful blue eyes.

As for the first, her piercing brown stair didn't look amused. He had trouble hearing what they were saying, so he had an idea.

From his pocket, he pulled out a case, in which he opened. Inside was a small bronze beetle. When he took it out, his goggles whirred, and the beetle's legs began to move. It was made of metal of course, and its eyes glowed light blue. This was yet another one of his inventions, and one linked to his goggles--his favourite of them all. He placed it on the ground and slid the box back into his pocket.

He was able to do the rest from his goggles. He fiddled with buttons on the side, and it scurried across the floor, narrowly dodging people's footfalls. It stopped under the stools beside the two speaking. Then, he flicked down a piece of metal on the side of his goggles over his ear to listen in.

"... but this is something my father got me this week. I thought it looked really nice," the pink-garbed girl said.

The other rolled her eyes. "It makes you look like a doll, Lynn, and not the good kind. Like, something a child would wear."

So the girl getting mocked seems to be called Lynn. By her skin tone and facial structure, she may have Canthan heritage somewhere in her family tree. They also seem to know one another, he took as mental notes.

Lynn frowned. Clearly she was hurt, and uncomfortable, though nobody else was listening. "Taya, please."

"What are you gonna do, cry like one too?" She scoffed.

Though he would normally not interfere, the ordeal bothered him. He wanted to do something. Once again, he took control of the beetle, and he started scurrying up the girl called Taya's leg. He saw what it saw, so he couldn't help but get flustered. Thankfully nobody was paying attention to him. He moved up her long, slender leg towards her panties. Then, he crawled over the curvature of her ass, and then up her back, to eventually cling and rest on the back strap of her brassiere.

Alternate Sequence!

You've reached a point in the story where you can take more than one path to reach the destination. At any time, feel free to return to this point to try something else. There aren't many of these in this story, given it's more of a series of liner tales instead of a game. Read the following options, and make your decision.

A: Vibit saves Lynn from the bully, and gets to know her more.

B: An old acquaintance of Vibit's shows up and causes chaos.
