Harley takes the lead with her request.

"That Liam's definitely up to no good," Harley Dustaine thought to herself, crossing her arms. "This isn't just a matter of what I want: this is my chance to look good- I mean, uh, to protect Ms. Ralli! Like a noble knight!" The young lady clutched her hand into a determined fist. While Liam was still trying to strategize, Harley spoke up to set the tone. "Ms. Ralli! I request that you start teaching class without wearing your helmet!"

"Why?" Ralli asked with a growl in her voice, turning her visor to Harley as though the helmet itself was accusing her.

"Um... Well, think about it. Isn't it weird that nobody in this class... besides me... has seen your face? You're been teaching us a year, ma'am! I think everyone would feel much more comfortable if we got to see your smiling face every morning."

"I do not smile in the morning, Dustaine," Ralli advised her with an ill temper. "I am not smiling right now."

"Ahaha... W-well, maybe you would, if you weren't wearing your helmet?" Harley suggested meekly, pressing her fingers together.

"Actually, ma'am, that makes me think!" Harvey shouted from the ground. Understandably, the huge trainee was sitting, nursing his legs. All those other guys, who hadn't even run a lap, could dance around if they wanted. "Ma'am, why're you always teachin' in armor?"

"... Is your request for me to tell you why, or is it for me to not do so?" Ralli asked, sounding a bit impatient.

"Uh... How about you keep the armor and lay off the assignments-" Harvey began to suggest with a stupid grin.

"Refused," Ralli said immediately, flexing her fingers as if advising him to make another wise-ass suggestion.

"All right, had to try. The armor, then," Harvey suggested. "Unless you're wearin' it for muscle trainin' or something. Don't tell me you ain't noticed it's blindin' half of us in the classroom when the sun gets just wrong?"

"... That is a trial for your growth," she responded, crossing her arms. It wasn't clear if she was really that cruel to her students, or she was covering up for actually having missed such an embarrassing mistake. "Also, you are permitted to close the blinds in the classroom, moron."

"All right, this is off to a good start," Harley congratulated herself quietly, pumping her fist. "Ralli will be more approachable... probably... and I'll get to look at Ms. Ralli's pleasant face all day long! M-more importantly, Liam has to pick a suggestion that fits our pace." She turned to look at him...

Liam was wearing a funny smile, looking back at her with his hands on his hips. "I'm surprised, Harley. You and I are so rarely on the same page... I'll keep up the pace you've set."

"... Dammit," Harley cursed under her breath, immediately aware she had screwed up.
