See, the thing that most people on the floor don't know is that there's one woman who you've actually been paying a lot of attention to in the last few weeks. It's not just fucking, either. Well, you won't pretend it didn't start with a steamy hookup in the basement of a grungy upper-year's apartment building, but it isn't just fucking. You actually really enjoy spending time around her outside of the bedroom.

For the first time this year you and this person are more than just friends. You've even been on a couple of dates. All of this is a very closely guarded secret. And you mean that. Most of the time, 'secrets' on this floor just mean 'common gossip.' But you haven't even told Greg about this new... well, you won't call it a relationship, but it is something. And you and this woman have done the best you can to conceal that secret from everyone else on the floor.

It's not that you're ashamed of her, or of what you and she share. It's just the opposite. You just don't want to make it a big deal with your floormates right now. They're all great people but everything is so public in this dorm.
