Gold. A lot of gold

Johanna finally managed to open the box and found that inside it was full of gold. Just gold and siver coins, some cups with crystals inside, a few bigger silver flagons and one small dagger, just a letter opener. Johanna grabbed a pile of coins in her hand and let it slip down to the box.

"Ha, ha, ha, I found a real treasure here. " Johanna laughed at the absurdity of this situation. "Box full of coins, of great value in civilzation, but it's worth less than trash here, in the jungle." She picked a golden ring with some symbol on the top, but Johanna didn't recognise it. It doesn't matter right now, even if it was a symbol of the Kingdom of Britain, it won't give her food or a boat to leave this place. Still, she put the ring on her finger, just to have it.

"Alright, alright Johanna. It is not a complety useless find. " She said to herself. It was less than she hoped for, but she could still use something. First, the dagger. Sure, it was smaller than her fist, but it was still sharp and able to cut many things, if she was careful. Secend, silver flagons. It wasn't as useful as a leather wineskin, but it will still give her chance to gather fresh, sweet water when she found it. She took the dagger and two flagons in her cloak.

"Well, even it for now it is useless for me, it doen't mean I don't take it, when I leave the island." She said to herself, and locked the box again. She used the dagger to make mark on a palm in the tree line, and make ten steps onto the beach, to dig a hole for box. With a big effort, she managed to push it inside hole and cover it with sand.

"So this is my bank account, for the future." Johanna joked to herself and gathered her possesions. She put her cloak and belt back on, and she also took the fish net and ropes on her shoulder. It stinks, but Johanna was sure she would find a use for it, as soon as she find shelter. Johana must decide now, if she is still looking for supplies from her ship, or to take a risk and go deeper into the jungle, to find some place to sleep and something to eat.
