Friend or Foe?
Friend (for now)
A tall, wiry woman emerges from the dark. She looks striking. Her skin is a deep purple and her hair is a shocking pure white. It’s drawn into a loose braid that covers one of her small, but firm breasts. She’s managed to find some clothing: a pair of mens pants that hit her at the knee, probably from some smaller race but repurposed for this woman. She holds a short sword in front of her.
“Stay back.”
Adva grabs her new found knife from her belt. “... you stay back!”
The other woman raises an eyebrow. “Are you not a denizen of this dungeon?”
“No! I was brought here by some kind of magic from a cabin in the woods. I’m trying to find my way out.” Adva doesn’t lower her knife but her shoulders relax a little.

The other woman lowers her sword. “I am Lali. I was brought here by a magic trap laid for my kind at the edge of a mining settlement near my home.”
Adva also lowers her weapon and smiles brightly. “I’m Adva. I was sent to learn more about the mortal world.”
Lali chuckles, “The mortal world? What are you?”
Adva pauses. “I’m not sure. All I remember is giving up my wings to fall to earth.”
A look of genuine surprise crosses Lali’s face. “You’re an Aasimar then. You’re so pale, I thought you were just another cave creature.”
Adva smiles, “And what are you?”
“I thought everyone knew what a Drow was by sight.”
“I’m very new to your world.”
“No kidding. Well. I suppose we can try to get out of here together then.”
