Dex Parios is a private investigator based in Portland, Oregon whose military background makes her a strong and capable PI, although her unapologetic style often causes troubles with both criminals and the law.

Dex is a Marine veteran who served in Afghanistan and, as a result, suffers from post-traumatic stress disorder.
