Date night (Pre-War)

Nora fantasized about the night for a long time. The day Nate finally would ask her out and take her on a date. He had clearly wanted to and was clearly eyeing her at her work, but he never followed through and that frustrated Nora. But now it was happening. Nate plucked up the courage to ask and she of course agreed to. Nora looked in the mirror at her red dress and heels. She had long black hair that went down past her shoulder blades.

She had dark brown eyes and pale skin. While Nate had a roguishly handsome face with slicked back brown hair, scruff around his chin and jaw line, and green eyes that popped out making Nora swoon. Nora took a deep breath as the door bell to her small house rang. She opened it to find Nate staring at her. He wore a black suit and grinned as he saw Nora all dolled up. “Wow,” he said. “You look absolutely beautiful.”

“Thank you,” Nora said. “You clean up nice yourself. Finally got the courage to ask me out. Only took you 8 years.”

“I was nervous,” Nate grinned.

“Right, a boot camp military soldier is nervous about asking a girl out?” Nora teased.

“Hey, you’re the one that’s the hot lawyer that can talk her way out of any situation,” Nate said. “I just wanted to make sure that I approach things the right way and didn’t make a fool of myself.”

Nora nodded. “Okay,” she said. “So, what is the plan?”
