Carrie pulls a little stunt.

The ride is mostly quiet. Occasionally, the police radio goes off, revealing tidbits about the day to day crime going on around the city. Every now and then, either Ramirez or Johnson will glance at the two of you through the rearview mirror.

Carrie breaks the silence, "It's kind of bullshit, isn't it?"

At first you think that the officers are just going to ignore her question.

A few seconds later, Ramirez responds, "What's bullshit?"

"That I can't walk around naked. I'm not hurting anybody. It's natural, right?"

The female officer sighs loudly, "Maybe you should go live in one of those nudist colonies so we don't have to waste our time with you."

Carrie responds, "Judging by what they're saying on the radio, you could be doing worse things tonight than arresting a naked girl that just wants to get some fresh air."

Behind the wheel, Officer Johnson laughs a little bit and says, "She's got a point, Ramirez."

"Oh shut up, you just like looking at her."

"I never said that."

"You don't have to."

Carrie looks over at you and gives you a mischievous little smile.

Your girlfriend says, "I don't mind him looking. Being naked shouldn't be a big..."

Ramirez turns around in her seat and cuts Carrie off, "Enough. Be quiet the rest of the way."

Once you arrive, Officer Ramirez gets out of the car and ushers Carrie out. She grabs your girlfriend firmly by the upper arm and guides her inside the small police station. Carrie, barefoot and wrapped in only the blanket, turns and winks at you before going out of sight. You are left alone with Officer Johnson.

He says to you, "What was that about?"

Playing dumb, you answer, "What was what about?"

"The wink."

"Oh she does that all the time. She's always up to something."

Johnson sighs and says, "Alright, come with me. This shouldn't take long. You can just wait inside."

Officer Johnson leaves you in sort of a waiting area. There are maybe a dozen people around and a couple of police officers. Several appear either drunk or completely strung out on ****. Late night at the police station draws an interesting crowd. Carrie is nowhere to be seen. You assume that she's in the back being booked. It's kind of wild knowing that your girlfriend now has a criminal record. That is... assuming she didn't have one from before you met her. With Carrie, who knows...

Maybe 15 minutes later, Carrie and Officer Ramirez come through a door and into the room. Her state of dress draws a lot of eyes. These people probably weren't expecting to see a pretty girl wrapped in only a blanket and with no shoes on. You notice that she's no longer handcuffed. The second Officer Ramirez releases her arm and turns her back, your girlfriend catches your eye and gives you another wink. Oh boy... here we go...

Carrie walks casually to the middle of the waiting area. Most eyes are on her. Why wouldn't they be? As if it's the most normal thing in the world, Carrie undoes the blanket and lets it fall to the floor. Her curvy and perfect body is available for everyone to look at. What follows is a moment of stunned silence. People that weren't looking at her before, now are.

Breaking the silence is one of the drunk guys who yells excitedly, "Oh shit!"

Ramirez, who's attention was momentarily not on your girlfriend, turns around to see what's happening. You can't help but laugh at her reaction. The officers mouth drops open and she stands there frozen clearly unsure of what to do. A couple of guys around the room pull out their phones and start taking video. Springing into action, Officer Ramirez lunges towards the ground and grabs the towel. She quickly wraps it around Carrie and keeps her arms locked tightly around her. There are groans around the room.

One guy yells, "Oh come on! You ruined the show!"

Ramirez, arms still wrapped around Carrie, leads her out of the station. You follow behind. Once you're outside, the three of you are alone.

Clearly upset, Ramirez says, "What was that about?"

"I told you I don't like wearing clothes."

"You're fucking unbelievable."

Carrie smirks, "Thanks! You too."

"I swear to god if I get called back to your house tonight..."

You decide to step in, "She'll behave the rest of the night. You have my word, officer."

Carrie frowns but seems to accept your decision. Shit, if it were up to her, she'd probably take off running naked down one of the city streets. Officer Ramirez slowly releases your girlfriend and seems more at ease when she doesn't immediately drop the blanket.

Heading back into the station, Ramirez calls out, "Just get out of here."

You and Carrie walk down the street a bit and find a bench to sit on. Occasionally, a car passes. You can't help but wonder what they think about the sight of you and Carrie just chilling on a bench. To her credit, Carrie keeps the blanket wrapped around her and hiding all of her naughty bits. Still, it must be a weird sight.

You pull out your phone and says, "I'll get us an Uber."
