Caroline speaks with Imperia

Caroline stood and watched her young daughter Adella being led off to her guest chambers by Shasta and two strapping young men. She waited until she was sure they were well out of ear shot. She turned back to face Imperia. "Your Majesty" she began. "We both know why my daughter and I are here. My daughter has no idea, but I know the arrangement you have made with King Malcolm."

Imperia seemed surprised at first by Caroline's words. She stood up, and smiled. "You are definitely a woman of beauty and intrigue, my dear Caroline. How did you find out that our alliance rests on both of you becoming pregnant while you're here?"

Caroline giggled. "I have my own spies, plus the behavior of my own beloved husband of late was a bit of a clue. He has hardly touched me in bed for the last month, causing me very many nights frustration, and many lusty days alone with my scepter. From that alone, I knew something was up. That, plus there have been rumors about what you have done to your own nobility throughout the Obscurian countryside. I must admit, you have an interesting way of keeping the nobles in line. You'll have to tell me about your methods."

Imperia smiled in adoration. "It seems you are quite a shrewd woman, Queen Caroline. So now that the plot has been unmasked, what do you wish to do?"

Caroline knelt before Queen Imperia, and looked up at her. "I surrender myself to your fate. My womb is yours to impregnate with as many Obscurian babies as you see fit. So is my daughter's."

Imperia gently caressed the side of Caroline's face. "I am caught at a disadvantage. I did not expect this from you. You are a shrewd and cunning woman, and I need you. It was wise of you to submit, my sister Queen. You shall rule by my side. We shall both rule the new Obscuria together, and no one will stand against us. As a sign of good faith between us, and for the common good of our peoples, I will allow our new royal whore, King Malcolm, to impregnate me as well. It will bond our peoples together for generations to come. Rise, and kiss me, my sister Queen, and become my equal."

Caroline rose slowly and opened her arms to embrace Queen Imperia. The two fell into each others arms, and kissed to seal their deal. But the kiss became something more as both women became hungry, devouring each others lips. "Oh my!" exclaimed Imperia as she pulled away. "You are full of surprises! You shall sleep with me in my royal chambers. I won't take no for an answer. I want to watch you get pregnant. And maybe afterwards, we can have our own private time."

Caroline smiled, and kissed Imperia again. "I would be very much agreeable with that arrangement, your Highness" she cooed.

Imperia reached inside her robes, and pulled out a vial of dark blue liquid. She handed it to Caroline. "Drink this. It will ensure you of a pregnancy."

Caroline opened the vial, and brought it to her lips. She tilted her head back, and drank the strange, warm, bittersweet liquid.
