Bad Luck be my Lady

A few days later Alex and his team was set. Raven had done her job well. She, had staked out the hell Fire club long enough to learn Roulette’s habits. It would be dumb to take on the whole club. No, they needed to get their target alone.

This especially true since the White Queen (Emma Frost) is currently a member. Alex was no match for telepaths. Since they too worked on the astral plain. So they could counter his powers. It’s why he wanted both good and bad luck on his side.

With those mutant powers his side might get lucky and be able to gain control of one. Still, that’s why he needed Roulette alone. Thankfully, even though she was a mutant she was still human enough to be a coffee junkie.

Meaning she made frequent visits to a local coffee shop. That was a good ways away from the hellfire club. Hopefully well out of Emma’s range. Thus, his team was stationed in and around the coffee shop in question. At the time she normally came in.

If all goes well it should be an easy bag and tag. At worst well that’s why Raven was here. The most skilled out of the group and able to resist telepaths. Basically Raven is their plan B.....
