Back to work

The bright Tuscan sun wakes her early the next morning, streaming through the blinds. She stretches and yawns surprised to find she feels fully refreshed despite only having a few hours sleep. She smiles realising it must be a benefit of her wish and looks around for Jinn, spotting him a few feet away. He is sat on the floor watching an American sit-com dubbed into French.

"These people are very strange." he comments seeing Susanne is awake "Why can Rachel not understand, they were on a break?"

Susanne rolls her eyes

"Why is it only guys see it that way?" she mutters before continuing "Never mind that lover boy. I'm going to need breakfast and then I have to get to work."

"Work?" he asks "You intend to continue with your mundane mortal job?"

"You bet your butt I am" she confirms "I worked damn hard to get where I am today and I don't intead to give it up just because I've had a stroke of good fortune."

She wishes for fresh coffee and a selection of pastries while going over her plans for the day. She has meetings planned all day and in theory she should be able to close this deal by the end of the day. Still, she can't shake the feeling that the suppliers are not being entitly honest, the deal they are offering is just too good.

What she really needs to do is head out to their farm and check things out at the source. The problem is if she asks to make an inspection they will undoubtedly be able to cover-up anything that shouldn't be there. Likewise if she heads out there under own steam she'll be missed here and risk blowing the whole deal.

What she really needs is to be in two places at once. Hmm.....
