In this world, Australia never gained it's "independence" and is still essentially a penal colony. Here, the Mad Max movies are basically documentaries. The country can divided into 2 sections

1. The Dominion of Australia which makes up the Eastern half. This part is similar to the first Mad Max film. This kinda suck but overall but overall civilization is still relatively intact. While the populace are technically considered inmates, they can still travel or move abroad, they just need to wear monitors and behave or else they'll be immediately set back.

2. Western Australia which is similar to the later Mad Max films. Here, the horny lunatics are quite literally running the asylum. On top of that, this part of the continent is truly the land of monsters where everyday is a fight for survival! You can still go there, just not alone. The only part of Western Australia that's truly safe is the free city of Perth.
