An Uncertain Morning

Your eyes snap awake at the sound of your alarm, reaching over you groggily hit the snooze, and collapse back into your pillows. Your mind was foggy as you tried to work out what you had to do this morning, though one was still very apparent, helping Julie get a donor. Knowing how important you were to Doctor Stevens now that she knew you were Blue level, you figured you could possibly leverage things so she could get Julie bumped to the front of the list at this personal donor agency.

All at once, things clicked back together and you tossed the blankets off your body, looking down between your legs. "Julie?" You nervously asked but felt some relief not seeing your younger cousin still laying by your crotch. You easily began to rub the back of your head and swung your legs off the bed, "Julie?" You easily called out again, though you received no response. Leaving your bedroom you moved across the hall and gently opened the door of the guest room, "Juliana?" You called out but quickly stopped in relief as you spotted the redhead fast asleep in bed.

"Oh thank god," You breathed out in pure relief while shutting the door and stepping back into your room. Immediately you realized that last night must have just been a very vivid wet dream, obviously, all the news of Juliana's situation, as well as your own, made your mind concoct a very stimulating scenario. You glanced down to your briefs and felt a small somersault in your stomach as there didn't seem to be any residue from a midnight orgasm.

Shaking your head you ignored the fact willing, there was always a good chance you just didn't finish. Pulling open your closet you grabbed a fresh set of clothes and made your way into the bathroom. You showered quickly enough, gave yourself a fresh shave, brushed your teeth, and exited just as Juliana woke and stepped from her room. You could feel your cheeks turn flush and you had a hard time meeting her eyes, "Morning John," Juliana merely grumbled as she shuffled past you, entering the bathroom while rubbing her tired eyes.

"Morning," You mumbled back stepping out of her way and watching her shut the door behind her without so much as a second glance, "See, everything is fine," You whispered to yourself while heading down towards your kitchen. You made yourself a quick breakfast and soon enough Juliana had finished her own shower and was coming into the kitchen, "How are you feeling?" You asked the girl as she plopped down into an open seat,

"Shitty," Juliana muttered back, "I hate taking showers and then putting on my same old clothes, I wish I knew I was gonna stay here last night, I'd have brought a night bag,"

You let out a short chuckle, "Well, if that's the only reason you're feeling shitty I'd say things are going okay," You pointed out while sitting down with your plate of food, quickly taking a few bites, starting to completely forget your dream from last night, "You gonna head out soon then?"

"Yeah, probably just to run home and get some clothes, It'll probably only take me an hour or two," Juliana replied, reaching over and snagging a piece of bacon from your plate,

You nodded back, taking a sip of orange juice before pausing and looking back up at the redhead, "Wait, run home and get clothes? You're coming back here?"

Juliana gave you a confused look, "Yeah? Why wouldn't I be? You told me you were going to help me figure out this whole...stupid fucking...donor thing, right?" She said with an expectant look,

"Yeah but I'm just gonna be making a few calls or maybe talking to a couple of people, after that it's all in someone else's hands, and I can call you when that happens," You explained seeing Juliana only shrug in response,

"It's whatever, I mean I figure I can save you the trouble of having to track me down to tell me everything," Juliana lightly argued back, "I mean it's not a problem me staying here again, is it John?"

"No, of course not, I just figured --" You attempted to say only for Juliana to smile happily and cut you off,

"Awesome! I knew you wouldn't let me down!" She exclaimed in a quick cheer while jumping up to her feet, "I'll just run out now and be back soon,"

"Oh, uh, okay Julie, sure," You reluctantly replied,

"You know, it's weird, these last few days before I was diagnosed I was feeling so bad, and totally off. My mind was playing these weird games with me, it felt like I wasn't fully in control of my own choices, and obviously, there was this...want that comes along with it. But this morning I'm feeling good!" She said with a prideful smile, "M-Maybe I could be getting better? Like, some miraculous recovery? I don't know, could be all I needed was to visit my favorite cousin and have him take care of me for the night," She added on with a warm look back at you,

You tilted your head slightly watching as Juliana got her shoes on and pulled on her small overcoat, "You...sleep okay last night?" You asked her, watching her give her amber hair a quick toss-up, pulling it free from the coat,

"Like a baby," Juliana sweetly replied, "Why do you ask?"

You shook your head and waved her off, "Nothing, just happy to hear you're feeling better," You said in a reassuring tone, "See you later?"

"Totally! Be back in a few hours!" Juliana said before all but rushing out of your house with a near skip in her step. You leaned back in your chair and crossed your arms, could it be true, could Julie just be feeling better? You weren't sure but admittedly, something didn't feel right about this whole situation.
