What is the First Challenge of Dungeon like?
A Maze of Fire, Sand, and Glass
Allen lowered into the first chamber of the dungeon; it was massive but also problematic; there was a goddamn maze down here. Allen was in what looked like a starting point. The walls of the maze looked and felt like sand, so tightly packed it almost felt like sandstone; carefully moving through passageways, Allen also encountered walls of solid glass, of varying levels of transparency; he even encountered temporary walls of fire, that acted like doors of the passages more than anything else.
Allen spent what felt like hours navigating what looked like the same passageways before almost breaking down and saying how he wished he had a way to navigate the maze to the intended exit. Fidda made a new appearance with a smirk, once again in her harem girl outfit, and handed Allen a magic compass, with a brass housing, before once again returning to her ring with Allen jokingly making a comment about her doing that purpose. After what felt like a few hours, again, Allen finally managed to make it to the end of the maze. He almost got burned half a dozen in the process of following the compass.
After reaching the end, Allen saw what the next challenge on the way to the lamp was, and his only response was, "Well, fuck!!"
