How Does the Wish Manifest?
Dressed like a Historical Figure Out of a Movie
Allen blinked a bit before looking at himself and around; what he saw was not quite how he thought things could have turned out. "Why am I dressed like Laurence of Arabia," inquired Allen, "with a dune buggy?"
Fidda flowed out of the ring and formed into her sexy form; she was also dressed like a desert merchant, "It seemed appropriate," she said with amusement, "it's loaded with all the provisions you requested. I also loaded it with one of the GPS things, and it's already set with the destination; all you have to do is turn it on and drive. It will take about two weeks to get there, taking the safest, best path I know of; how are things with work? You aren't in trouble with them with all the days you've had off so far?"
"I work as an instructor," said Allen, "and I'm off for two months; it's why I was going through the estate on the day I found your ring."
"Well, as long as you aren't in potential trouble with your sources of income," said Fidda.
With that that they set off, in the dune buggy, for the dungeon. Fidda seemed to be somewhere between concerned and enjoying herself. After just three days, of dealing with all the dessert had to offer, Allen was thankful one of his provisions was a means to keep warm during the considerably cold desert nights. They saw quite a few desert animals but after two weeks of driving the dune buggy, and making sure it had plenty of fuel each morning, they finally drew near the dungeon. It looked like a sand cat had made her home near the place.
Allen gathered the bag with dungeon diving provisions, which ironically looked like a starter kit for an adventurer in some RPG, and headed in through the entrance, Fidda once again within his ring.
