Insufficiently Sinful Sisters by Aphelion
3 years agoFour sexy teens are taught that their true nature is not quite of this world, and that they're trapped by shame and social expectations. All it takes is one man — the right man — to show them how sin can be freeing, and encourage them to unleash their potential and take their rightful place by his side.

Rounding Error Savior by Aphelion
3 years agoAn alien invasion destroyed the world, with small enclaves preserved in state-of-the-art bunkers while rare humans capable of reality-warping effects were left to fight against the alien menace. You are one of those rare humans, and you're there for the human victory over a shattered world. You retire alone to the bunker which preserved your family, leaving behind simple machines to reconstruct a hint of civilization. But when you wake up something's wrong. A computer error has meant that every other survivor in your bunker has been altered by their medical-pod, thanks to random incorrect rounding and decimal placement. The worst result? There are no other men. The maximum male presence when the bunker was programmed should have been 40%, but somehow was entered as 0.4%, and as the last to enter you were the only one to retain their sex. So among 249 women — some of them your own family — how will you go about rebuilding civilization?

A Defining Choice by Aphelion
4 years agoIn the world of Corta, a world riven by portals that gather the detritus of other worlds, choices are made every day. Among its many peoples those choices are often made in desperation, caused by: poverty, or war, hunger, or enslavement. Others decisions are made out of love, hope, or just naked ambition. Whatever the reasons, some of the choices people make are greater than others. These are the stories of the people of Corta (by birth and by transplantation) whose choices were so significant that they defined the paths their lives would take—the sort of decisions that go down in history, and change lives forever.

The Life Plan Correction by Aphelion
4 years agoIn the near future opportunities have outstripped human resources as universal education uses AI to tailor itself to individual student needs, and identifies every nuance of citizens's talents and interests to help them find purpose in life that leaves them fulfilled, and lets them contribute to society. But not all humans are easily satisfied. Some never can be. Some people run through dozens of jobs they enjoy, never staying for long, and so never settle into a role and bring experience or efficiency to their work. Others go into massive debt, either living outside their historically ample means, or gambling it all away. Some just chafe under society's expectations, never applying themselves, failing in school or work despite every indication that they should do better. Those who cannot be satisfied, who risk it all or fail against the odds, are assigned a Life Plan. To correct their risky behavior their life is put into someone else's hands, given an editable plan to make them operate at their full potential. A minor surgery implants a behavior-modification chip that makes it so to them, these dropouts of society, their Life Plan becomes their guiding purpose. And therefore the holder of their Life Plan becomes their personal ruler. It is the only humane solution. Who could stand to watch their fellow human being end up in prison or starving on the street, deprived of purpose and of social value? *inspired by the hentai Dropout (image source), as well as the anime Kakegurui, and threads here like the Affection Multiplier. Contains themes of control, possession, abiding care, empathy/compassion for misfits, and primeval passion (and all the contrasts those themes imply).
