The wedding hall was beautiful and lavish. Exquisitely decorated, but without falling into decadency. Martin was after all man of certain position and has put a lot of effort into the planning and the logistics of the wedding, even if it was wholly financed by his parents-in-law.

The couple was waiting in front of the alter, ready to be married in a ceremony that gathered almost half a thousand of guests, servants and slaves. Held in a picturesque villa, borrowed from a family friend just for that occasion. With the friends and family gathered, the young couple was waiting for a knot to tie them, and start their new life together.

Of course they were in for a lots of surprises, especially the bride will find that her husband kept something from her. Something that will change the life she thought she'll have in a ways she'd least expect, and awaken the feelings she would never thought she could have.

But that was the song of the future. Here and now they were holding each other hands, and looking in each other's eyes. As the champagne corks flew, fireworks exploded, and rice was thrown, they quickly looked few hours back in their memories...

The Wife - Anna

Anna was a 24 year old bride. A noble lady who just finished the University - as it was fashionable in recent times - was preparing to walk down the isle to meet her future husband. She wasn't exactly young anymore, not by the standards of her country at least. Many of her friends got married right after finishing the lycée at the age of 18. She however insisted on finishing the university before the marriage, and her future husband candidates - surprisingly - agreed to wait.

She did meet him before - she was not going into this marriage completely blind - but of course all the previous meetings were in presence of the matchmaker or chaperones. Her family was pretty progressive and well off themselves - despite being of the lesser nobles - so they let her decide among few suitable candidates, not even that much older then her. Lucky fate that was not often bestowed upon daughters of the noble houses.

She looked like an angel in a white wedding dress that covered her head to toe as it was tradition - even if the dress itself did not fit that tradition at all.

With the help of her Maid of Honour - Bernadette she was ready to face her future.

The Husband - Martin

Her groom Martin - 32 year old lesser noble - looked dashing and handsome in a tailored suit. A custom borrowed from the west, as per tradition he should be wearing żupan, but since his bride decided for western style dress, he went with the suit to match.

With the beard cut by the best barber in the city, and hair combed back, he projected a strong but at the same time elegant image. His height of 190 cm (~6'3") certainly helped that impression - as well as his toned body, sharpened by years of adventures and battles. Wide shoulders stretched the suit, and a broad chest proudly put forward did nothing to change the impression of a man ready to fight for what is his.

Considering his past he should not be nervous to marry, but all his years of training and adventure did for him was that his outward appearance did not betray his nervousness. To onlookers he looked cool, calm, and collected - waiting for his bride. It's only inside him that was shaking!

His best man - Ernest put the hand on his shoulder to give him a sign of support. His war comrade could sense his feelings, even if no-one else did.

From the Author / About the Story

This is (hopefully) going to be a medium length story set in a different world where technology is modern(ish), but the society evolved differently - to be much more conservative. Themes will revolve around slavery and chastity (since it's a Locktober after all), and role/power reversal.

Can't decide if I should put it into Romance or BDSM category as it'll feature both, for now Romance it is but with heavy BDSM tags, and be waned there will be a whole bunch of it in most branches ^^
