The Second American Civil War

Nobody saw it coming. Everyone knew it had been a crazy election year, but nobody expected war. However, when Hillary Clinton won the 2016 election, all hell broke loose.

Donald Trump was the reason. He claimed the election had been rigged, that Michigan and Wisconsin, two key states which had both delayed releasing their votes, had cheated him out of the election. A surprising amount of people agreed with him.

Then he suggested secession.

It seemed to happen overnight. Most of the south and parts of the Midwest all declared their independence in the same week. The capital was placed in Texas, Donald Trump the new president. The military split between loyalists and "rebels," dividing up the equipment as well. On April 28, 2016, Hillary Clinton declared war on the Great People's Democracy, and bloodshed ensued almost immediately.
