The Naked Truth

You live in a society where nudity in addition to being a sexualized thing, is also the ultimate embodiment of honesty and vulnerability. In this society to present yourself naked to another person is the ultimate expression of honesty. By baring all of your naked form to the world you are showing metaphorically that you have nothing to hid and that all of your chips are on the table. As such everyday to us happen to have a culturally accepted amount of full frontal nudity in this society, such as court proceedings, weddings and proposals, and even the occasional job interview (if you’re really trying to impress your potential future employer).

These situations can be both embarrassing for the person that strips but also touching on the right occasion. As a result public nudity laws are much more lax but lewd acts are still prohibited.

As a by product of these cultural norms having pubic hair is much more common as being required to shave it became a sign of illicit activity to ensure that anyone to witness your nudity would be able to tell of wrong doings. The same with tattoos in usually covered up places.
