Summer Plans

Finally summer is here you've been waiting for this for a long time after a gruelling 1st year of university, you can relax for the next 5 months without any deadlines or assignments. You're heading back home for the summer to spend it with your family, nothing special but a much needed change of pace. Last time you spoke to your parents they said nothing much had happened but that was 4 months ago around Christmas. At home you live with your mom, dad and sister its a typical family and you all get along fine apart from a few arguments with your sister around how long she spends in the bathroom. You are always picked on for your height however at only 5 ft 6" you're short for a guy which your sister always likes to bring up, along with your rather feminine face. It doesn't bother you too much though as its only ever in a lighthearted way or in retort to something you said, you two tend to get along most of the time. The only exception was the time a few years ago when she and you mom found you in your room with some of her underwear, it wasn't even your fault that they ended up in your room from a laundry mistake but as a young boy in puberty at the time you were curious about all things women. That lead to them catching you looking at them and getting mad at how you invaded your sisters privacy. Your mom forgave you after you tried explaining how they got there but your sister was still upset for quite a long time because of how intently you were staring at them when they found you. She eventually let it go but threatened to really get back at you if she saw it happen again, just the thought of what she might mean by that made sure you never let it happen again.

You've just arrived and are getting out the car when your mother comes to welcome you back. "Welcome home sweetie, how was the trip back?" she says while giving you a hug. "All good although it was a bit of a long one, How have things been while I was gone, has anything happened?" You reply and follow her back into the house. "Actually yes, there is something that I need to tell you but come on in first and i'll tell you over some lunch, i just finished making it before you pulled up".
