Starship Transient

The only technologically advanced, and now a trans-planetary species, in all of known space has conquered The Milky Way Galaxy, so to speak. The vast majority of known habitable star systems were terraformed to conform to the species ideal habitat: Earth.

The vast majority of humans live outside of the prime star system of: Sol, in which our home-world of Earth resides. And the largest portion of the human population lives in the star system of: Copious.

It was named after the vast amount of terrestrial worlds and satellites (moons) that resided in the habitable zone, not to mention its numerous quantities of natural resources (frozen water, minerals, metals, ect.). Furthermore, the local star cluster in which Copious is found, is also similarly blessed with about half or so, in each system, of the entire bounty found in Copious.

After the gigantic effort from all of humanity to terraform and colonizes the Copious Star System it was no surprise that it quickly became the new Capital System of Humanities' "Interstellar Federation", the IF for short. While it was not the first system to be colonized it was by far the quickest and most rewarding. It is the main reason that this local cluster is now the fastest and highest growing in the entire galaxy.

The IF Government, in order to continue the effort of developing all habitable planets, has allowed local planetary and their star system governments to relax regulations, as they see fit and as long as they don't deregulate past the Galactic Standard Minimum Regulations, on migrant workers.

You, Captain "Jon Shepherd" of the star vessel "Transient", have amassed enough money or as it will be known "credits" to buy the first step towards a better life for you and your crew: actually buying the starship: Transient ([regardless of the fact you may have customized the name at the beginning] lets say it was previously owned and you couldn't change the name or call sing without massive loads of creds [money] you didn't have ). Oh and don't forget to hire your crew.

Now we begin the glorious enterprise for fame, fortune, and fun.
