Your name is Alice Troublefield, and you were never the popular girl. Even after graduation and getting a little apartment for yourself, nobody really knows you exist. You admittedly are more on the introverted side of things, but that doesn't mean you can't fantasize about what could be--if you were the woman people couldn't look away from. Either way, you get up one morning just as you always do, and because it's your day off, it's time to relax.

It's a beautiful summer day. What's a more appropriate place to visit than the beach? That being said, you've always shied away from strutting around the sand in a bathing suit. You stare at them in your dresser, but ultimately decide to wear a simple pair of denim shorts and a white t-shirt. It isn't like you're going to be suntanning anyway. At the very least, however, you can enjoy the sun in your own way, feeling the cool breeze from the water, afar from the bustling beach.

Regardless, it's already almost noon, so you make your way out of your apartment and begin walking to the shore, which is only half an hour away by foot.
