Deep within an evergreen forest, there lived a small little family. Perhaps you have heard of their tale: at least, the way that it has spread out across the world, in various different tellings. Perrault told it in his book of fairy stories, and the Grimms told their own version.
There are earlier versions as well, the "Grandmother's Tale". Do you remember this? Possibly you do.
