There is an urban legend about a drink. A mysterious, magical drink that makes those who drink it seek out the nearest person and ask them a simple question:
"What would your perfect partner be like?"
After asking this, the person who years it will also go into a trance and answer them, and there further questions. With each answer, the one who drank the drink will change more to fit that person's ideal - until the trance wears off and they are fully transformed.
Well, that's the basis of the story at least. There are add-ons: some say there are 'tainted' drinks out there; corrupted by evil magic, chaotic essence or just coldly constructed in some corporate lab with no lack of care for the negative consequences and simply a desire to make a product.
It's just an urban legend though, right?
